People in prison are still people and being locked up doesn't mean you can mistreat them. And I know police officers do, as I had a foster kid that experienced the same, and the problem is they are not allowed to talk about it, because as they do, it will be more terrible situation for them... And everything is covered up.. look at Joe Ferrari.... and others And Thailand claims to be a Buddhistic country, with alcohol bans on Holy Days, but they could better respect life for every living being... File a report ...I am sure the Thais are ready to respond.

I can tell you i have seen the holding cells over there, nothing degrading or in humane there. Very basic but it is not a hotel. The story about flooding and having to drink his own urine imo is totally bs. Maybe all in his head because according to his own words he was hallucinating and had no idea what was going on? Holding cells are not prison cells. 6

Popular Post Guderian Posted March 22 Popular Post Posted March 22 It makes me think of that tale of woe a few months ago from a British pensioner who claimed he'd stumbled into a gate and been arrested and beaten up by the RTP, and had even managed to get the Foreign Office on his side. The true story soon came out that he was drunk as a skunk and had attacked and broken a security barrier, resisted arrest, and had fabricated the rest of his story as well. 1 1 1 3
Popular Post Owiee Posted March 22 Popular Post Posted March 22 5 hours ago, webfact said: Picture courtesy of The Daily Mail Lewis Green, a 22-year-old traveller from Staffordshire, endured a harrowing ordeal after being incarcerated and mistreated in a Thai jail. Set against the backdrop of a two-month solo adventure in Thailand, Green's nightmare began on 24th January in Hua Hin, merely a day before he was due to return home. Green's horrifying account unveils a narrative of being drugged, beaten, and starved while shackled in a squalid police cell. He alleged that he was forced to consume his own urine from the cell floor due to dehydration and lack of clean water. The young tourist, who sustained serious injuries including fractured ribs and a broken wrist, contends he was targeted and possibly spiked with the hallucination-inducing drug Dimethyltryptamine (DMT). Reflecting on his grim experience, Green recalled, "They flooded the cell and I had no option but to drink the filthy water. I was handcuffed and left to deteriorate without food or care." His ordeal reportedly extended beyond physical abuse. Speaking from the UK, Green explained that ultimately, he managed to buy his release for an eye-watering payment of £7,000 (307,000 Baht). Green's arrest spiralled into chaos following a dispute at a cannabis dispensary. Though he vividly recalls arguing with the dispensary's owner, the precise details of his arrest remain blurred. Despite being cleared of taking illegal substances, Green expressed his disbelief over an unfounded car theft accusation, stating, "I didn’t steal the car. I was incapacitated and unaware of what was happening." His release only came after further payments, including £4,500 (198,000 Baht) in fines and £1,700 (74,000 Baht) in compensation to the car's owner. In the wake of Green's detention, his family mobilised rapidly. His father, Peter, flew to Thailand, while his mother, Colleen Wilding, liaised with the British Embassy and local police. "It was his dream trip," lamented Wilding. "But our fears grew when communication ceased." Back in England, Green sought medical treatment, revealing not just physical injuries but also dramatic shifts in his mental state. This led to his temporary admission to a psychiatric hospital for detailed evaluation. reported DAily Mail. Amidst this turbulent saga, warnings about tourist safety in Thailand persist. Notably, the Foreign Office highlights issues of drink and vape spiking, underscoring the plight of travellers like Green. Determined to turn this experience into a cautionary tale, the Green family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support his recovery and to alert others of potential risks abroad. As Lewis Green focuses on healing, his story serves as a stark reminder of the complex and often perilous realities facing international tourists, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-03-22 I don’t know why but l feel there is a lot more to this story. 2 1 1

Popular Post Nick Carter icp Posted March 22 Popular Post Posted March 22 From the GFM page "Hi my name is Colleen and I am Lewis mother. The reason we have set up a go fund me is so we can try and recover the money Lewis lost in Thailand to get out the police station in hau hin after being set up by a local and being asked to drive her vehicle which then landed him up being arrested and locked up for four days in a Thai holding at the police station we know Lewis was drugged in Thailand with a drug that he said just gave him a over whelming feeling of psychosis. He was hallucinating and he was having a near to death experience his dad and I lost contact with him for four days it was when a friend he met went to check his hotel room she found his dads number and contacted us to say Lewis was in holding. We were horrified Lewis had started the holiday with a wonderful fishing experience and he had been thoroughly enjoying it but in the day before he was due to return everything went horribly wrong. He was beat in the police station and the police fractured his ribs broke his wrist and his feet were lasserated. The only way we could get to Lewis rescue without him being locked up in a Thai prison was to send £7.000.00 in English money over which Lewis said he wanted to pay himself we sent the money over and he was free to go what else could we do he was in danger and he was our son we needed to help him. But it doesn’t end there we then realised that whatever they had drugged him with was having lasting effects and he was in no fit state to fly home we then made the decision for his dad to fly over that cost another £5k for his dads flight over and there flights home. We had to do this we had to get him home so that we did but upon arrival to the uk he still wasn’t well he was still having horrendous nightmares and hallucinations he broke down at home and said he needed help so we seeked help and Lewis was admitted to St. George’s for treatment not that he had a drug problem he didn’t as most of you know he’s a hard working lad and he didn’t deserve in any which way to end up with what was a dream holiday and ended up in a nightmare situation in which we had to get help Lewis was admitted for five weeks in to St. George’s for a treatment plan and he was finally discharged yesterday he’s spent his savings to get him out of jail he’s not earning any money for three months so I thought I would set up a go fund me to help Lewis to get some of his money back just a little till he can resume at work which we have no idea how long this will take. I thank anyone now who can help us in this awful situation we’ve been through as a family we have tried to get money back from the authorities in Thailand but it’s corrupt and they don’t want to know I would also advise anyone travelling to Thailand to be vigilant and the Thai authorities have one rule for one and one for another so beware" 1 6
Popular Post spidermike007 Posted March 22 Popular Post Posted March 22 Quite an incredible and if true quite a horrific story. If I was subject to that kind of treatment and then finally released, I think I would be very tempted to dedicate the rest of my life to go after that prison warden and those guards that were responsible. And I am not talking of legal remedies. For me that would feel like a very worthy way to spend the remainder of my lifetime. 1 2 2
