  • I am proud of my support for the Covid vaccines that saved countless lives. But had I known there would be such an anti-vaxx movement among the MAGA crowd I would have been in favor of making it a vol

  • I'm fully in favor of MAGAs avoiding vaccines and instead injecting disinfectant. Make sure they inject their spawn, too. A double dose, just to be safe.   And absolutely no polio, smallpox

  • There is no mountain of evidence, RFK jr hopefully will start the ballrolling with a full and transparent analysis of this so called "settled"   issue  which is in fact far from proven, settl

The unvaxxed are still doing fine.

Unfortunately, those most susceptible have been culled over that last 5 years.  The remaining unvaxed are only doing better than those who already succumbed.

LOL  LOL   OK   40 psychologists signed a letter claiming.....

My Psych 101 professor had the bright idea of giving LSD to 30 young repeat offenders in jail under a government research grant.  (Google "duncan blewett" LSD inmate)

Who'd like to take a shot at guessing how that turned out?

I'm sure a group of 40 such individuals would definitely come up with many wacky ideas.  Of course The Telegraph would consider such ideas newsworthy.

What is newsworthy is what the Telegraph reported on  namely  the military grade syop that was used to scare people into compliance.

The comment you replied to said nothing about an imaginary disease.

He got the flu and recovered.

Well given that it was an imaginary psyop, I didn't think in additional fiction would make any difference.

I guess this goes under one piece of fiction deserves another.

Typical MAGA nonsense by a loser.

Inject disinfectant your spawn. That's about all a MAGA can do to add value to the world.

You’re a low value poster.

critical meeting to select flu serotypes for next season's vaccines.

Well maybe they would have better success with just  pulling the candidates out of a hat   hence no need for a meeting  and just as much "success" rate with  the vax.

Kleptocracy or croneyism?

Matthew J. Memoli has had an exceptionally good year.

At the beginning of January, Memoli was a relatively little-known flu researcher running a small lab at the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health. Then the Trump administration handpicked him to be the acting director of the $48 billion federal agency, a role in which he oversaw pauses in award payments, the mass cancellation of grants, the defunding of clinical trials, and the firing of thousands of employees

Quote

He and a close collaborator, Jeffery Taubenberger, also at the NIH, recently approached Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to pitch their research, three current and former NIH officials familiar with the matter told me. And as The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, the pair are now set to be awarded up to $500 million for their in-house vaccine research.

And when you cancel other research grants, you are not saving money, but wasting it. 477 NIH grants were canceled. These grants represented $2.8 billion in committed investment. More than half of the pot had been spent. To save $1.3 billion, $1.5 billion was thrown away. Yes, thrown away, the research is all for nought, Well, maybe not quite, because the research would have generated an army of now out of work scientists with $1.5 billion's worth of Know How, and they could take that Know How and offer their services in Germany or the UK Biotech Triangle. Someone investing in the FTSE100, probably not an American, will now benefit from that US Largesse of 2-3 years ago.
