Many people follow, like sheep, those in power, thinking they're know it alls,

AS was most likely the case. But if the FDA or health services says it is good to have some wine every day to help your blood circulation. Do you start drinking 5 bottles a day? There is no reason to blame RFK Jr for this except to make him look bad simply because some people disagree with his thinking.

Don't even try to talk facts or sense to a txxxxer. They are conditioned to appose anything against the regimen. No matter how good you're information is, they will find a way to not believe facts. Many years of trying to force feed facts and they regurgitate them right up. Right from the 90s in NYC.

Not all Texans.

He should leave facts to those who know more about health issues. Being appointed to a position doesn't mean you're an expert. The problem lies when people believe someone just because they're in charge, instead of looking at what actually is. Everything in moderation is always a good idea, that being things that aren't considered dangerous in small amounts. Trump himself, because of his huge ego, thinks he knows a lot about things but he doesn't.

Everything the media write are lies and fear mongering, they are to blame for all the hostility and divide, not just in the US either

Texas Children Suffer Vitamin A Poisoning Amid Measles Outbreak Following RFK Jr's Claims

Texas hospitals are treating children for vitamin A poisoning after Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the U.S. health secretary, promoted the supplement as a measles treatment. Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, Texas, has reported a small number of cases in which children, initially treated for measles, also displayed signs of vitamin A toxicity affecting liver function, Texas Public Radio reported. Similar cases have also been noted in neighboring New Mexico.

Both Texas and New Mexico have been among the hardest-hit states in what experts warn is the worst U.S. measles outbreak in years, despite the disease being declared eliminated in the country decades ago. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed almost 500 measles cases across 21 states as of March 28—a staggering 360 percent increase from the previous week. Dr. Ashish Jha, former White House coronavirus response coordinator and current dean of Brown University’s School of Public Health, told ABC News on Monday that the country is “on track to have the worst measles outbreak of this century.” The majority of those infected—97 percent—were unvaccinated, and two individuals have died, marking the first measles-related deaths in the U.S. in a decade.

Kennedy, who has long been associated with vaccine skepticism, recently claimed in a Fox News article that vitamin A “can dramatically reduce measles mortality.” He further stated that the U.S. government is “delivering vitamin A” to West Texas to combat the outbreak and that doctors are seeing “very, very good results.” While Kennedy has expressed support for vaccines in general, he insists that immunization remains a “personal decision.” However, experts warn that his promotion of alternative treatments risks creating confusion among parents about how best to protect their children.

Dr. Peter Hotez, co-director of the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development, cautioned that such messaging could lead to dangerous consequences. “If people have the mistaken impression that you have an either-or choice of MMR vaccine or vitamin A, you’re going to get a lot of kids unnecessarily infected with measles,” he told CNN. “That’s a problem, especially during an epidemic. And second, you have this unregulated medicine in terms of doses being given and potential toxicities.”

There has been a reported surge in demand for cod liver oil in Texas, which is naturally rich in vitamin A, indicating that parents may be administering the supplement at home as a measles treatment. However, excessive intake can result in toxicity, leading to headaches, nausea, vomiting, and, in severe cases, liver damage. In pregnant women, excess vitamin A can also cause birth defects.

Although vitamin A can play a role in managing measles symptoms, experts stress that it should only be used in a controlled hospital setting. “Like much of what RFK says, there’s always a kernel of truth, which he sort of manipulates to legitimize the things he’s saying,” said Dr. Anita Patel, a pediatric critical care doctor in Washington, D.C. She explained to the Huffington Post that while vitamin A has been shown to reduce measles mortality, “high doses that you would never administer by yourself at home” are required, and only under medical supervision.

A recent CDC advisory acknowledged that vitamin A supplements could be a therapeutic aid for measles but reaffirmed that vaccination remains the most effective prevention. The MMR vaccine, available in the U.S. as a two-dose regimen, has a 97 percent efficacy rate in preventing measles, according to the CDC.

Yessir, now that the Supreme Court has given Trump a pass on any crime committed during his presidency, he can continue to appoint the crazies to any agency and we have already seen how ignorant they are of the basic laws of running a nation but because they are rich, Trump just wants them to contribute monies to him via what he calls his election candicy chest.  Just like his businesses that failed, he and his family didn't lose money, only his investors lost out and they were/are rich so they didn't really suffer.  They should all be punished together IMHO.  Now, we see just what a total idion RFK is in being named as the US health Secretary!  I can only imagine what will follow over the next couple of years, possibly if a COVID-like disease were to appear, he would recomment injecting bleach for a cure.

And don't forget most American kids necessarily had to have a measles shot before going to school.  Once that stopped it opened up for measles.  Just like polio eradicarted in most of the world by the SALK vaccine, continues to be in the world because of some tribal folks in the Middle East/Asia desert type refusing to get ANY vaccines.

As 45, POTUS suggested using disinfectant injections to cure Covid. It's on videotape, he wasn't joking, and some MAGAs actually listened to their messiah and did it.

Basically, there are just a few reasons why we get sick. The two obvious ones are the body is deficient in something. Or a toxin.

Fredwiggy is quite right, A nutritious, balanced diet is the best way to ensure the body has the tools to fight off toxic entities.

Taking chemically produced vitamins is not the way to go.

I never said bleach. Some misquoted him, but disinfectant is pretty much the same thing. Both poisonous to a human.  Don't call someone you don't know a fool, because that actually makes you the fool. I'm not political. I sit back and see them self destruct. Trump has said many stupid things over the years because a narcissist with a huge ego cannot be wrong, at least to them. Trump said, "I know everything about Covid,", when it first came out, and didn't close the borders immediately until something was done. It cost many lives. He looks to others for answers, and fits them in, letting others think it was his ideas. When someone has such a huge ego, they talk without thinking, with a little bit of knowledge on a subject from something they either read or heard, and then puts it out there without facts to back it. He does this a lot.

Some peoples no longer trust the science.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A top White House official has pledged that the CIA will no longer use vaccination programs as cover for spying operations. The agency used the ruse in targeting Osama bin Laden before the U.S. raid that killed him in 2011.

Lisa Monaco, President Barack Obama’s top counterterrorism adviser, wrote to the deans of 13 prominent public health schools last week, saying that the CIA has agreed it would no longer use vaccination programs or workers for intelligence purposes. The agency also agreed to not use genetic materials obtained through such programs.

What is the difference between natural vitamins and manufactured vitamins? Vitamins are a chemical too. More scam lies from big supplements.

To avoid measles, get vaccinated. It is the only solution available.

There is no such thing as an effective measles vaccine. Measles is not a disease. It is a group of symptoms. No such thing as a measles virus, which is said to cause it. Made up nonsense.

Many people are followers, and that's okay if they're following sound advice, and not someone in charge that may have helped them in some way. Just because someone is good in one thing doesn't mean they are good in everything.

Vaccines have definitely saved countless lives, yet some still don't believe in them because of the side effects they sometimes have. Covid's vaccines came out very fast because it was a dangerous disease which spread fast, so something had to be done quickly to prevent deaths. Panic? Maybe, but those who worked on it were doing their jobs, trying to stop the deaths. We all found out that most people aren't affected by it, or if we get it, it isn't harsh, but again, when panic sets in and many die very fast, people do whatever they can to stop it from happening.

Many diseases were either wiped out from a combination of vaccines and human immunity response, or are only still around because some weren't given vaccines in outlying regions.  Some aren't necessary to many people, like the yearly flu vaccines, because we aren't susceptible to the flu like some others are. Some, like the Polio and Rubella, were necessary, especially as children. When al we have is science to go by, we either trust it or we don't. Our choice, and the consequences have been there on some vaccines. Measles outbreaks happen because people come into the country with the disease, and all it takes is one to give it to others, and if you don't have a vaccine, you'll get it, maybe, and some might die.

This explains a lot. Healthline is a trusted source. Many drugs used actually come from natural sources................https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/synthetic-vs-natural-nutrients

I don't care anymore. let them suffer. Maybe they will wise up. Why even bother treating them, if they are so opposed to modern healthcare. let them rely on their potions and tonics.

Absolutely wrong. Measles is a viral infection that is easily prevented with vaccines. If it is not a disease then how do otherwise healthy kids get sick after measles parties?

Monumental claptrap Fred. Where do you get this nonsense?

IMO, all vaccines have led to misery and early deaths. They have not save ONE life, anywhere at any time.

Covid was not a disease at all. Simply made up nonsense.

Diseases can't be passed from person to person.

Ok! Before this post gets booted off. Show where a virus has ever been isolated. Where is there evidence that a disease (if there is such a thing) is infectious?

Many have been isolated and many have had vaccine developed. Your deliberate ignorance does not change the facts.
