Within the last 2 weeks I replaced the water pump at my house. It was 10+ years old and was in the house when I bought it. The existing pump is an ITC 250 Watt (the tall round design). Both are made by Hitachi. The new one is short and square. The new pump started to leak within 1 week of installation. I bought it on Lazada. The seller refuses to provide me with the part, and requires that I send the new pump back to him for replacement or refund (he will not send a new/replacement pump until he receives the old one from me). I contacted the local representative on the warranty card and was told that I needed to send the pump to them for repair and it would take about 1 month. I cannot do without the pump for 1 week, let alone 1 month. One option is to buy another ITC pump of the same model and swap it out, and send the broken pump back to the seller hopefully for a refund (he has changed stories/options daily, so I am really not sure if I will get anything from him). The other (preferred) option is to find the broken part here in Pattaya. Hence, the reason for this thread -- Is anyone aware of a shop that sells ITC/Hitachi water pump parts?  Reinstalling the old pump would require 2 "installations" as the connection points are totally different at B1,000 each and would be a total loss.  Thanks for any help..... Update -- When speaking to the ITC representative at the number on the warranty card, I gave her my mobile number. A few hours later a Thai man called and I could not understand him. He hung up. A few minutes later a man called who spoke very good English and asked about my ITC water pump. He seemed to have some knowledge of my problem and the options I had been given, which he understood were not practical. He almost immediately offered to send me a new pump immediately with the old broken pump still with me. He said he would coordinate the delivery of the new pump within 15 minutes and get back to me. He asked that I please send the broken pump to them when the new pump arrives and is installed,, which, of course, I agreed to do. Within 45 minutes I got a message on Lazada from the original seller telling me that they had received instructions from ITC to send the new pump immediately, which they were going to do. He asked me to confirm my delivery address, so I think it is going to be sent. ITC and their staff in Thailand are excellent and incredibly helpful. I will never buy from this seller again, but I have great confidence in and appreciation for ITC. A+++.....

Excellent service.....I too have an ITC pump, and the one prior, which lasted 10 years, was also ITC. The old one only had a minor problem and I think the brother in law got it and has it working on the farm somewhere.
