Just got my DTV approved.

Well, I had elite Visa, and applied non-B with work permit no issue, and elite Visa not cancelled. After one year, although I had great accomplishment, but boss didn't wanna comtinue my contract/WP due to personal difference.

And I could still use my elite Visa no problemo! Eg. when I had elite Visa, depite I don't like its inferior price-to-value, but it served as reliable backup -- as long as I have elite membership & multi-entry sticker intact, I mostly don't worry about application nor policy uncertainty.

Now, would DTV serve same purpose? If I apply non-B working visa and WP, would that affect DTV in bad way?

Need your input; appreciated 🙏

And yet you posted this 11 months ago.....

"Hi all my situation is I'm on visa exempt and only a week left, but I also doing my car registration issues and cert-of residence is last thing I need"

Can I apply for a Thai work permit under a DTV Visa Thailand?

No, the DTV does not permit holders to work in Thailand. It is strictly for remote workers, freelancers, or those engaging in Thai Soft Power activities. To legally work in Thailand, you would need a work permit under a Non-Immigrant B Visa.

Some people collect watches and others collect visas. I won't even claim that I understand which ones of the OP's visas are current and which ones they intend to get.
