More likely she was born in Britain. I worked with many black British nurses in London and they were certainly no worse than their white British colleagues. The best nurses I worked with were Australians ( I'm not Australian and have no reason to love the place ).

I've worked with some that were rubbish and not Christian, and some that were Christians and very good nurses. Filipinas are excellent nurses that work all over the western world and most are Christians.

btw, which year was it you retired? I'm an American so I only follow UK news from abroad but I think the demographics of the UK changed radically over the last 20-30 years, maybe it mostly happened after you left or hasn't reached your particular region?

Nobody in their right minds would do it if they had other options. 

One of the things that has impressed me in private hospitals in Thailand is they obviously employ the nurses based on looks. 
Nothing better than waking up from an operation, still half drugged out and being taken care of by a hot Asian nurse.

How would I know that, and how can you be offended, due to me not knowing that? How is that my issue, on any level? I told him, her, who knows, to grow some thicker skin. They want to create new terms so they believe they are special and so they can chastise people for not using them.

Read it again, he was making a complaint. The bullying was done by management. A situation I was far to familiar with. In one situation I was trying to protect a patient from a potentially bad situation and management attacked me for it. That was the time I decided to retire early.
