That CNN article came out in mid 2023.  A year and a half before the November election.  With DEFCON revelations and the Georgia court case (as if that was a surprise to anyone following Haldeman's work), you'd think they'd demand an upgrade if they found vulnerabilities.  But they just crossed their fingers that nobody else found them and exploited them.

Meadow evoked Trump's idea in a discussion with Bowser ( DC mayor) in order to protect the protesters, not to protect the Capitol (see quotes from Ornato's testimony in my post, you know the testimony touted by Loudermilk)

 

As to Pelosi, she was not in charge of security at the Capitol and was not involved in it. She was also not DC mayor. It's a MAGA lie. 

 

Oh and Trump still watched the assault on TV and did nothing.
