I am sure the bosses of ICE did not instruct them to not arrest terrorists!

I'm pretty sure they did just that.  "Don't arrest the future Blue voters" means "Don't arrest the terrorists among them".

due process means 5 years later a verdict is reached.

Justice needs to be faster, and they need to do whatever it takes to get that verdict time down to 7-14 days.

Western civilisation cant afford the public costs of a 5 year process any longer.

Thats whats happening. Leftists want due process for the terrorists and criminals while the average american just wants them out of the country

 (Concerned US Citizens): "I'm protesting against genocide in all of its forms wherever it happens."
 (Trump Administration): "TERRORIST!  Get ready to send this one to a El Salvador SuperMax."
 (Concerned US Citizens): "I'm a US Citizen."
 (Trump Administration): "Who is now a TERRORIST! Habeas Corpus and Constitutional protections no longer apply."

I hope the Dems chew on this OP a lot. Their fight with deporting the illegals is completely unfounded. Trumps policy for getting the illegals out is working. It has also impacted the amount of illegals trying to enter still.

How can Americans feel safe knowing the guy next door could be a terrorist or killer or foreign gang member?

The courts need to stop taking cases if proof is shown the person has entered the country illegally.

for the umpteenth time, read the Constitution... I assume you have heard of that document. No dem wants terrorists in the US, to think otherwise is patently stupid. For anyone accused/taken in by gov what is Constitutionally required is due process, aka "your day in court". We are fighting illegality done by the government, not the criminals.

"No person shall be .... be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law" (5th Amendment). What parts of that are you unwilling to allow into your consciousness?

"How can Americans feel safe knowing the guy next door could be a terrorist or killer or foreign gang member?" Stupid once more: YOU could be a foreign gang member. YOU could be a terrorist. If I am an officer in ICE and decide you are one or the other, without any court hearing, without any charges, you'd be happy with me bundling your ass off to some Salvadoran prison with zero rights to attorney, hearing, contact with family, etc... a black hole.

We have courts and procedures to decide these things. You would applaud Gestapo for rounding up, imprisoning Jews without trial or charges. It is the same thing, the same lack of rule of law.

Cut the crap about dems wanting terrorists etc. It is BS and you know it. If you don't, seek deprogramming

Your knowledge of the legal issues involved is simplistic.

You dont consider rich, multinational drug dealers that pump dope into the arms of kids, terrorists?

Guess that goes with the belief that a man can become a woman by slicing off his balls.

Maybe to you terrorist means "foreign really bad person." But not to me. And I can't find that definition in any directory.

And what exactly does transgenderism have to do with this?

I'd classify you as a terrorist.

Obviously, I couldn't classify you as a traitor because you're British.

Thank you for your double demonstration of cluelessness.

So if the picture in the op is to be believed,  wh.gov think that a Sikh organisation is linked to one of the most militant Muslim organisations?

Mind-boggling.

You can read that 1000 times and still not get it unless you read some of those law books you always see on those shelves that spend thousands of pages discussing cases that decided what constitutes "due process" and who qualifies as a "person" and whether being deported constitutes being "deprived" of anything that they are entitled to. There are hundreds of cases and thousands of pages to define what that single sentence really means.

Not to mention whether a piddly district judge can force the president to do anything.  Or issue universal injunctions without certifying a class because that constitutes a class action.  Or they can demand action without posting a $ billion dollar bond in case their injunction is over ruled on appeal.

It's not about law or government, it's about headlines and good television.

NY Post is the print edition of the stuff Fox broadcasts.

The thing with the Sikh has got to be part of a quid pro quo with Modi.  DT made a public statement about violence in Kashmir a few days ago, not like him at all, sounds like he has taken to buttering Modi's buns.  We'll probably never know the payoff.  The Indians still begrudge the Sikhs for killing Indira Gandhi.  I wonder if this stuff about them taking refuge in Pakistan is legit.

And of course those numbers are ridiculous.
