It's the potato, sugar spike, dopamine spike, quickly wears off, the 'crash', and like a junkie, your brain tells you need more.

Sometimes I feel hungry and I find that eating something really helps 🙄

 

Also it can be prevented by eating in advance of feeling hungry, often 2 to 3 times each day.

Carbs / sugar are addicting, and the release of dopamine while eating keeps you eating.   Why they add sugar & salt to junk food.   

 

I seem to fill up quickly with fats & protein.   Carbs, example, pasta, potatoes (fries), chips/crisps, Doritos, bakery/pastries, and all things high in sugar and or added sugar, and why so hard to stop, with a supposed recommended, silly small,  'serving size'.

 

I used to each a whole tube of Pringles while watching torrents ... 

... "A serving size of Pringles typically contains about 15 crisps, which equates to 28 gram" ... 

 

That's 4 servings in the 110gr tube ... :cheesy:

Carbs  like chips are made so that they become addictive and the food producers know this.  In addition, one might add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to a drink just before sleep.  Healthline says it can stabilize the body from within while your are sleeping.  I add it to my oatmeal breakfast and I use soaked oats, not cooked but add two tablespoons of  unfiltered vinegar to the almond milk and soak for 24 hours.  Soaks up the milk softens and the oats plus neutralizes the acid from the oats.

I also suffer from intense night cravings, but I just deal with it the natural way plus some trick to fool the brain.

 

What helps me most is plain soda that you can find anywhere for reasonable prices and it fills your stomach giving a false sense of satiety and is caffeine-free so anytime, one bottle and there's less hunger. 

 

I've been here for just over a month and dropped quite a bit of weight doing intermittent fasting. Record is 5 days at a time without food so it can be done and then you can treat yourself to a japanese hot pot buffet. This is how it works if you are serious about weight loss, physical activity aside. Good luck!

Feel hungry in the evening and really do not think about it, and surprise, I wake up feeling full every morning. 

 

It's all about not eating foods that makes you crave for more

1210 calories in 480g steak. Large potatoes be 600. 1800 calorie meal.
