Barron ain't American

Actually I agree with Yagoda this is really stupid. In fact, it's just as stupid as the campaign that questioned Obama's eligibility to be president. What kind of collective amnesia has afflicted the right wing that they have forgotten about this? I wonder how many of the people who are dismissing the thesis of this thread, enthusiastically supported the birther nonsense. And who was it who took over that campaign and pushed it for months? And made all sorts of unfulfilled promises about what they were going to find? Hmm... Maybe I'm suffering from amnesia, too. I can't seem to recall his name... It began with a "D" I think. Anybody want to help me out here?

The Birther movement really started in 1964, when there was a lawsuit questioning  Barry Goldwater's eligibility to run, as he was born in Arizona, when it was not yet a US state. Then George Romney, Mitch Romney's dad, faced the same issue in 1968, because he was born in a polygamy colony in Mexico. John McCain went through it all because he was born in the Canal zone.

The US President must be at least 35 years old. Barron won't be eligable until 2041. Probably most of you lot will be dead by then, so its moot. And I thought Ivanka was a shoo in for the next President  Kushner (nee Trump). Obviously not Dumb and Dumber. And everyone forgets about Tiffany.

You mean Sidney Blumenthals and Hillary Clintons creation of the "birther" controversey?

Nice try at deflection. Whatever the truth about the source of those claims, they died a quick death among Democrats. Or was it Hillary Clinton or Sidney Blumenthal disguised as Donald Trump who led the Birther movement? At its height about 50% of Republicans didn't believe that Obama was eligible to be President. A lot of Aseannow menbers were among them,

Are you denying they were the start of the dispute as to Obamas citizenship?

Why is that a deflection? You are the one that made the smarmy comment about "birtherism", how is it a deflection to point out where it came from?

Such a troll, hoisted on your own petard. Send out your Emojinauts.

What does it matter if they were at the start of it? Virtually no one believed it. It would have died away unremarked. It was first someone whose name I have forgotten, then Donald Trump who made a huge issue out of it. But I certainly hope that you weren't daft enough to believe that there was anything to it. And the point is, you jumped all over the claim about Barron made here, but I can guarantee you that it will gain no serious traction. Unlike the idiocy that 50% of Republicans embraced. 50 percent!!!

Since father was American and mother wasn't, there would have to be a DNA test performed to confirm Donald as a father, but with that, Barron could get American citizenship. He could now no longer get Slovenian citizenship though, as although Slovenia does allow dual citizenship, both must be in European Union. Unsure how those who already have US and Slovenian citizenship are able to continue having them... I guess they are grandfathered or nobody cares about enforcement, or possibly Slovenian government just isn't informed of their other citizenship.

Not like he would want it. Just saying this as his mother is Slovenian and this post is about citizenship...

Does Barron have a US passport?

The idiocy that Hillary Clinton believed. Or was she promoting a lie?

Whether she believed it or not, it was only gullible right wingers who bought it.

47 decreed that those who are not born from American parents are not US citizens. At the time of his birth Barron's mum, Melania was not yet an US citizen therefore Barron is not American. Thanks Dad. LOL

Lucky him.

No, no one meant that because it didn't happen in the real world, only in your little MAGAverse.

Clearly. If you like I can send you the linked articles. If (when) you start bleating about AIs I would like for you to provide anything concrete that supports your claim. OK, pal?

Oh, the bold irony! Trump never thinks through the consequences of his own decrees. The King now wants to deport even U.S. citizens—criminals and rapists—to Cecot, El Salvador… just not the felons in red ties.
Always ‘let them eat cake’—just not his own.
