So now Trump’s gettin’ gifted a bloody $400 million jet by the Qatari royal family, yeah? A gold-plated sky palace with leather seats, diamond bog handles, and a minibar that probably stocks MAGA-branded champagne. And the bloke wants to use it as Air Force One. You what? That’s not diplomacy, mate. That’s FIFA levels of grift. At this point he’s not just runnin’ for president for a 3rd term, he’s auditionin’ for the next season of Dubai Bling.

They’re callin’ it a “gift to the Air Force,” which is like sayin’ your mate bought your missus a necklace “for the family.” Nah bruv, we all know who’s wearin’ it. But course, Trump’s out here screamin’ “IT’S FREE! A BEAUTIFUL GIFT!” on that bin fire of a social media app he runs, like that makes it less dodgy. Mate, the U.S. Constitution has a thing called the Emoluments Clause. Bit of a clue there. Says you can’t be takin’ gifts from foreign governments unless Congress gives the nod. And last I checked, Qatar weren’t on the PTA.

Now I’m no lawyer, but even I know if you’re swannin’ round in a foreign-funded flying mansion while makin’ policy, that’s what we call bribery. You don’t need a Harvard law degree to clock that. It’s like lettin’ a geezer buy you a pint and then pretendin’ it didn’t affect your opinion when he asks for your Netflix password. Except instead of a pint it’s a 747, and instead of Netflix it’s access to the leader of the free world.

And don’t think this is just a cheeky perk. This is Trump basically auctionin’ off the White House parking spot. Qatar donates a jet, and what, they get to pick who runs CENTCOM next? It’s corruption in first class. It’s Article II of the Constitution meetin’ Qatari air miles. It’s him doin’ international law violations with in-flight snacks.

Bloke down the pub last night, MAGA hat wearin' plonker, bald eagle tattoo on his calf, thinks NATO is a brand of breakfast cereal, tells me, “This just proves how much world leaders respect Trump.” Respect? Mate, they’re takin’ the piss. They’re butterin’ him up like a Christmas turkey with five-star freebies cos they know all you gotta do is flatter him and he’ll give away Alaska. Say he’s got big hands and next thing you know, Qatar’s got a missile base in Florida.

And the worst bit? His fans lap it up like it’s the Sermon on the Mount. “It’s a gift! He deserves it!” No mate, he deserves a criminal inquiry and a bus pass. This ain’t leadership. This is what you get when you let a timeshare salesman run a superpower.

But fair play, if Trump ever does rolls up to the G7 in his Qatari jet, don’t act surprised when the in-flight safety briefing includes “how to dodge subpoenas while inflight.”

You should stop getting your  information from Dave, at no hands bar, in soi 6.

well that multi-billion dollar resort his sons are over seeing there and the other one in Saudi each a billion apiece, plus the condo bldg I heard had each condo going for 20 million USD.  I guess they need additional housing for all the rich folks in western world  fleeding local taxes.  BTW how many pink MAGA hats for mothers day do you think will be sold?  probably made in China too!

The American people voted for their clown, and correct, they are as sharp as a balloon.
They don’t care about bribery and corruption, Americans have low moral standards and will do anything they can to win going back to the slave days.

They will never change. They think the clown is winning for their country, the rest of the world see Trump as plundering the country for his own benefit.

But as long as they are happy, that is all that matters. It is not as if they do not know what he was like before they voted for him.
Their choice.

You seem to think you know a lot about Americans, yet have never been to America, so that means you are taking the opinions of what you read in the news and on videos people put on Youtube, which is again, opinions. How would you come to the thinking Americans have low moral standards? Because most voted for a man like Trump?  What were our choices? One weak side or one that's been there before and has some good ideas, which we all hope don't backfire?  Who do you know that's an American that approves of slavery?

Bribery and corruption are everywhere, especially in poor countries like this one, but when you do something wrong in the US, there's a much higher chance of getting arrested and jailed than here.

You seem to think everyone approves of Trump and his plans. He was voted in because the other side was weak and not because he's a good candidate. No one knows what will happen with his ideas until it happens, which takes time. What Trump is doing is approved by other people, as happened with all presidents. The same as your country. It's always best to stay out of arguments about a country and what goes on unless you actually live in a country, because living here you're only getting a fraction of what's going on there. If you had relatives there who are living the life, they also could tell you, which is more reliable than biased news or armchair quarterback opinions.

He is not only the most corrupt man in history to occupy that office, he is at least partially senile. Check out this recent speech.

Donald Trump on Monday served up a word salad for the ages after being asked to explain his thinking behind 0his order to reopen the notorious former prison of Alcatraz in San Francisco Bay.

The president, while taking questions following 0a press conference confirming the NFL 2027 draft will take place in Washington, D.C., was asked: “How did you decide to reopen Alcatraz? Can you walk us through that decision? How will you use it? How did you come up with the idea?”

“It represents something very strong, very powerful in terms of law and order. Our country needs law and order. Alcatraz is I would say the ultimate, right? Alcatraz, Sing, Sing. And Alcatraz, the movies. But it’s right now a museum, believe it or not. A lot of people go there. It housed the most violent criminals in the world and nobody ever escaped. One person almost got there but they, as you know, the story, they found his clothing rather badly ripped up and it was a lot of shark bites, a lot of, lot of problems. Nobody’s ever escaped from Alcatraz and just represented something strong having to do with law and order. We need law and order in this country. And so we’re going to look at it. Some of the people up here are going to be working very hard on that and we had a little conversation. I think it’s going to be very interesting. We’ll see if we can bring it back, in large form, add a lot.

But I think it represents something right now. It’s a big hulk that’s sitting there rusting and rotting. You look at it, it’s sort of an, you saw that picture that was put out. It’s sort of amazing but it sort of represents something that’s both horrible and beautiful and strong and miserable, weak. It’s got a lot of, it’s got a lot of qualities that are interesting and I think they make a point.”

Most people commenting on this forum on Trump are "corrupt".

Misinformation is a form of corruption.

Pushing your bias incessantly like pitbulls out for blood, while completely ignoring and not acknowledging any positive developments. And not able or willing to see anything objectively.

You pretty much nailed it. You got me on Poof Daddy, but he probably prefers Poofter Daddy now.

A few more:

Highest cost of healthcare.

Highest number of homeless.

Highest carbon footprint per household.

Mostly from listening to me? I guess you have trouble comprehending what others write here. Tell me, where do I have low moral standards? I've raised, and still are raising, 6 children. I treat women very well. No cheating, abuse or neglect, including my girlfriend here of over 4 years. I believe in God, treat animals well, and don't purchase women. Also, I don't drive drunk, let alone brag about it here on AN like someone we know.

Jerry Springer shows are stupid entertainment, like many other immoral pop stars, Madonna being one. Pop stars like them are everywhere, including here and in England. Remember Benny Hill? The Sopranos and Breaking Bad are about real life, and people love them, as you can see in the ratings, again, just like your immoral Benny Hill and many comedians from there.

I won't make excuses for the mass shootings but Thailand has a lot also, and is slowly catching up in shootings, with intentional homicides higher than the US.

High divorce rates are in a lot of countries, UK not too far behind the US. 2.3 to 1.7.

Your "unnecessary wars" are the reason you're living free now, although some were unnecessary, not all were, as history has proven.

So you don't stay in denial, look at your own countries crime rates and immorality before you judge a country you've never visited, let alone lived in. Every country, including yours, has it's share of nutjobs, pedophiles, perverts and bad politicians. And you're the one who watches Jerry Springer, not I.

With one of the highest populations comes a higher number of things going wrong. As far as homeless rates, not near what many other countries have...............https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_by_homeless_population

It will never be used as AF1.  Any aircraft that is designatd as AF1 has specific requirements that the Qatari BBJ(Boeing Business Jet) does not meet.  In order upgrade the Qatari BBJ will take a lot money and time.  It's just optics and nothing substantial.  Any AF! (B757 or B747) has to operate like a flying White House situation room.  Also, AF1 has specific defensive counter measures that an ordinary B747 cannot be uprgaded to.
