Great guy, I recently bought two made in Japan safety razors from him.

They've also a website, just tap Siam Wet Shave on search bar.

My thoughts too. He's a good guy, but it made sense for me to buy from home due to the price differences. When he gets some more Taylor of Bond Street shaving cream in, I'll buy from him. I've tried whitebeards shaving cream, but I wasn't impressed, same with their pre shave oil. What do you use?

I've tried Mr. DIY's blades myself and found that they pull the hair. I believe those blades are not of good quality, not sharp enough.

like I said you have to find the best ones, I agree with you on the cheapest ones

From what I understand, Mr.DIY is a superstore of cheap Chinese products that they can't even manage to sell in China. They just repack in an acceptable way and push these products all over the world to rake in money from people who think they're buying useful, affordable items.

I doubt that's entirely accurate. That's quite a gamble on business model of defective products. Also appears to be owned by Muslims as they are largely who I see working in the stores.

Nevertheless, it would seem so.

Products sold within China have very low quality standards. I'm not surprised much of diy might be these products. I think they're just excess from Chinese market.

China overproduces nearly 15%. It must find markets abroad for the stuff

Products sold in b25 stores here also Chinese, but functional (not the same products).

Where do you guys buy your wet shaving products?

Why wet shave, try these.

In Thailand, no need for a close shave.

I bought a few of these on Lazada.

A must-have for handsome men. 😎

Temu and Shopee sell these as low as 18 Baht now. I bought mine for 42 Baht two years ago.  But I only use it to shave my head.

For my face, nothing beats Harry's blades, especially if you strop them before each use. I can get 30-40 'comfortable'  shaves from one (I shave my neck every other day) combined with a very light touch of Gatsby's Shaving gel.

Stropping is the real secret to getting a close, comfortable shave, and increasing the life of the blade. There's a valid reason barbers strop their razors.  I made my strop from a piece of 'Horween's' shell Cordovan horsehide, giving my blades 30-40 strokes before shaving to remove any oxidation that formed overnight. You can use any firm surface to strop; an old leather belt, the palm of your hand (yes, human skin does contain natural silicates, just not as much as cows, horses, or kangaroos,) or even your jeans! If you strop before every shave, and shake your razor dry afterward, you can almost double the number of 'comfortable' shaves.

I'm too delicate to put up with shaving drag.
