Austria is part of the EU and easy to get work permits unlike Thailand. BIG DIFFERENCE.  My nephew has a part time job as bar manager in Austria in the Ski season because nobody else will do it! Big deal!

Regarding, if you refer to German language, it´s not like you think. I am born in Sweden, and 100% Swedish coming from 2 Swedish parents. However, I read German, Spanish, English and of course Swedish in school. So, yes, naturally i speak German. After that, I have also added French and Thai to my spoken languages. Maybe you think that is remarkable as well. 😉

In addition, I can't see a 16 year old making a good bar/restaurant owner anywhere - but in Pattaya?  Definitely not. Such a person would be a rare beast indeed, most 16 year old's can't even speak these days - only text.

Where did I post a 16 year old is a good bar manager. i said, only that he could have been making money since he was sixteen. Still 25 years old is a good age for bar manager.
