It would make more sense for you to make a poll. Have I ever hit a woman? No. Would I ever hit a woman? It's impossible to say as I have no idea what lies ahead. Hopefully, I am never forced to hit anyone again though.

Unless you're defending a child against an out of control woman, never. Meaning if they are hurting the child and you need to shove them away to get control of the child's safety. She (woman, or maybe a guy who has pronouns she/her, lol) is holding a bomb.  She's weilding a knife and already attacked some kids.  She has a knife to my kid (if I had one).  She has a gun pointed at.... She is about to press a button launching WW3, etc...... She's pointing a bazooka at my head.....

If you think it's OK to try to hurt me or hit me, I will assume that you think it's OK for me to hit you back.  I'm going to stop you regardless of your gender.
My preferred option is to walk away.

If that option is not available, I will fight back regardless of gender. I will not just stand there and accept abuse.

Of course. He would tell the to stop, he would tell them to stop, and if they did not stop, he would tell them to stop more forcefully.

I see that I have 3 thumbs down on my comment here. A comment that says never to hit a woman besides when they might be hurting a child, you shove them away. This shows two things. Those that troll me, and follow you around just to put a thumbs down, thinking it might sway others. They have minds of their own, and aren't swayed by middle aged adolescents. It also shows they are for hitting a woman, and think never means whenever they want to.
