The sister of former police chief, Colonel Thitisan Utthanaphon, known as Joe Ferrari, is urging the police to uncover the mystery surrounding his death in Klong Prem prison on 7th March. His body was later brought to Wat Phra Si Mahathat for a religious ceremony on 10th March.

Speaking to the media, Saranya emphasised that her brother, once a dedicated policeman, deserves justice. While the family are prepared to accept a suicide ruling, they seek clarity on the reasons behind it. Despite ongoing investigations, answers remain elusive.

Initially hesitant to cremate her brother without case closure, the family decided to proceed after four months due to changes in the body, choosing his birthday for the ceremony.

Lawyer Wirasak Nakin noted the family has petitioned the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) over the body's movement, deemed unnatural. The NACC is reviewing the matter.

The results of the autopsy have been forwarded to the prosecutor, and further testimony from the family is requested by the authorities, though no date is set.

On 29th June, the cremation took place at Wat Phra Si Mahathat, led by Justice Minister Pol. Gen. Tawatchai. Attendees included former anti-drug police chief Pol. Lt. Gen. Somchai and family, amidst a sombre atmosphere.

Thananaya, Jo's sister, revealed that despite their request for the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to take the case, it remains with the police, as confirmed by Justice Minister Tawatchai.

Was that when he graduated from the Police Academy?

She might be right to be suspicious. Few others would care though.

I wonder if his bank accounts recorded large withdrawals just prior to his death..wouldn't surprise me. Reminds me of the death of Jeffrey Epstein in custody. In that case though, few believe he committed suicide, and was silenced to avoid uncovering his high-profile trafficking customers/friends.

"Joe Ferrari" knew "too much" he was a danger to powerful people, and thus the threat had to be neutralised.

No, never was!

I would imagine he had some enemies on the inside too, dont know if he would have been put in general population or not.

He didn't get rich alone, those above him needed him gone, dead men don't talk.

He obviously was not getting the protection he had paid for on the inside, maybe people were getting nervous about him

I highly suggest his sister go check the beach chairs at the closest club Med resort...Old Joe is about as dead as the very non dead Jeffrey Epstein...

Powerful people know its unwise to kill off your big name evil doers....That just sets a bad precedence for the next person that they need to do some evil doing..

The man with a plastic bag got a taste of his own treatment.

With respect, please expand on these powerful people to whom he was a danger

Those who knew what he was up to, were either accomplices or took a 'piece of the pie' to stay quiet and now want plausible deniably (witness removal) - once they had this man cornered, he was going to sing like a canary and everyone knew it (or at least thats was 'people' would have been worried about).

Graft as such a level simply does not exist in a vacuum without accomplices and other 'powerful' people in the mix.

If you wish for 'names' as purely a point scoring exercise on a forum you are showing both a degree of naivety and misunderstanding of how things operate, perhaps deliberately so....   This was a very 'Epstein-esque' ending to this mans life...  highly suspicious don't you think ?

This will go about as far as the request to probe the death of Jeffrey Epstein, and we know for certainty neither of them where suicides. Zero percent chance of that.

The only real reason he got caught (Financially wise) was because he was greedy and flashing cash all over the place, nobody above him would be that stupid, and they are the ones that can't have him talking.

Isnt this the same dude that suffocated a guy with a plastic bag?

So “Jane Lamborghini” chasing after her brother’s ill-gotten gains.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

After what he dished out... well..

I would have thought that any dead body moving would be "unnatural"?

For a disgraced cop convicted of murder he still had friends in high places. He was silenced. IMO

I don't believe he is dead. The whole thing is a charade. Lies upon lies.
