Popular Post snoop1130 Posted yesterday at 09:47 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 09:47 AM Photo via Facebook/ เจ๊ม้อย v+ In a chilling incident yesterday in Khon Kaen, Isaan, police were called to a local resort where the body of a 28-year-old Thai man was discovered alongside a cloth bag containing a cobra. The resort owner alerted Chum Phae Police at approximately 12:30 p.m. after the guest failed to check out and didn't respond to knocks on his door. The deceased was found lying on the bed, clad in a grey T-shirt and black jeans, with sneakers still on. There were no signs of forced entry or struggle, suggesting the door had been locked from the inside with the lights left on. Concerned after the man missed his checkout time, the resort owner used a spare key to enter the room and made the grim discovery. Medical responders identified a snakebite on the man’s right arm, and nearby was the ominous cloth bag with the cobra inside. Upon investigating, police found that the man's mobile phone contained multiple videos depicting him handling the snake. This led to suspicions that he was trying to create content for social media, hoping to achieve viral fame. Tragically, this endeavour seems to have led to him being fatally bitten. Authorities sent the body for a full autopsy to confirm the exact cause of death, though initial findings point to the snakebite as the culprit. Handling venomous snakes is an activity fraught with danger, even for seasoned experts. It is a field that requires vast experience and respect for the animals' power. This tragedy underscores the risks involved, especially for those without proper knowledge attempting such feats for social media attention. As investigations continue, this incident serves as a stark reminder of the perils that can accompany the pursuit of internet fame. Handling venomous creatures should never be taken lightly. The sad irony of this tale is that far from achieving the desired online recognition, it highlights a cautionary tale of the digital age. The local community has been left in shock, as such events are rare in the serene setting of Khon Kaen. As the investigation progresses, locals and online audiences alike are reminded of the unpredictability and real dangers of handling deadly wildlife for entertainment or recognition, even momentarily. Popular Post Scouse123 Posted 14 hours ago Popular Post Posted 14 hours ago Obviously the guy had experience handling these snakes with the content in his phone. How do they actually know he was planning to gain media attention or this was for online content? The snake was placed back in its cloth bag, not left to roam the room. The snake handler would know that a snake bite from this creature would be fatal without speedy medical care and assistance. How do they know this was a social media stunt and not a controlled suicide? Not saying it was, but it is a possibility. 5 2 1

I agree, a bite from a cobra isn't immediately fatal, he had time to seek assistance. 1

Cobras like dark, tight spaces, it would technically be possible for the snake to have gone into the bag by itself. What I don’t understand is why he didn’t go to a hospital after he got bit. So suicide would be one option or maybe he was allergic to the venom and went into anaphylactic shock before he could get to the hospital.
