Out of control behavior has nothing to do with outside influences but how a person handles them. Stress can drive people to do harmful things but that propensity for violence is already established in their conscious.

If you knew just how many people were an inch from drastic behavior you'd be very surprised. Keeping yourself under control is always on you. You could be sitting right next to a serial killer that looks like any other ordinary person and you would never know it, as they all have next door neighbors.

The fear of incarceration, being shot or losing face has many not going that extra inch.

Weed usually has people acting calmer than before smoking it.

Mental illnesses is an underlying problem in many, ready to explode if the stress gets too high. It starts in childhood or is genetic. Not getting treatment has some going into the world with a load of anger that only needs an excuse to be let out. Some people should never do any mind altering substances, whether it's weed, alcohol or any other drugs.

You probably watched Reefer Madness too many times.

Cocaine today is treated the same way they treated booze during Prohibition.  And that worked swell, didn't it?  Turns out that banning booze just put more money into the pockets of gangsters.  It's the same today with cocaine and cartels.

When I was a kid, you could get sent up for decades for possessing weed.  Now, it's legal in many places, and tolerated in even more.

I'd rather they focus on crimes where there's an actual victim.  When it comes to recreational drugs, legalize them, control the quality and distribution and tax the beejeezus out of them.  Use that money to support healthcare.

However, Guys like this is a disgrace for my country and should be locked away and forgotten. Just another total dork that thought he found an easy way to money. Guys like this should try real work that makes men of them, instead of living a life slowly killing other people. In my opinion all persons related to distributing illegal drugs, should be charged with attempted murder.

But those slowly killing people with legal drugs like tobacco & alcohol are OK.

No charges for them right?

Unfortunately you didn't answer my question ⁉️

I've seen people go off all my life, many times for the smallest of infractions. Most weren't high or drunk, although drunks and those using speed lead the list when it comes to being on something. never once did I see anyone go crazy after smoking weed, and that's after seeing people high on weed thousands of times.

The appropriate question that a rational adult would ask is whether I've seen lives damaged by smoking or the use of smartphones.  The answer is "yes".

More drugs means more addicted means more crimes.

To stop or slow down you need draconic penalties

It's worked so well in the past.

You always try to turn things around. When have I said it´s ok. The discussion was about if it was legal or not. Not your opinion that it should be legal, nor if it is ok or not. Keep to the facts. Illegal things are punishable.

Before weed was legalized in many states, many people got long sentences just for possession. Weed legalization has been growing and some countries will take a long time as they are controlled by dictators and communism.I already knew where it was and wasn't legal, as I approve of the drug even though I don't use it but occasionally. The more weed is shown to be helpful, especially to people with pain, the more it will be legalized. Most drugs come from legal substances but some are changed chemically. Again, alcohol is legal and kills many daily, and weed isn't killing anyone but helping many. I'm only talking about weed here and not other harder drugs. About the sentences, some people kill a human and get 5 years, and some are caught with personal drugs and get decades. That's where unstable, corrupt or plain ignorant court systems fail.

So, now your back tracking?

Just because a drug is illegal doesnt mean it 'slowly kills people' as you stated.

The thread is about 2 people getting caught selling drugs, not the effects of drugs. So, as you say, stick to the facts.

You think people should get punished for illegal drugs. Yes, many drugs shouldn't be legal, as they cause harm or kill people.  Some drugs, I'm talking about weed here, are only illegal because of ignorance, not because they are causing people so much damage.

Weed has positive purposes. I think you're missing the point here. Alcohol kills people daily and is legal. People have made alcohol legal and weed illegal, although it wasn't earlier in time. Maybe you don't realize what outdated thinking is, but many of us do, including the places where it's now legal.

In 10 years it will be legal in more places. Realize some countries are ruled by wrong thinking and ignorance, hence so many wars and control going on. Your opinion is your opinion. It's just prejudiced as far as weed is concerned. It doesn't matter if weed is illegal. Facts are facts.
