No conspiracy all down to the direction of one man - in my opinion, Trump, with a known, declared and practised interest in teenage girls was very probably part of it. That much is known.

 

He thought he was in the clear, hence the initial enthusiasm for releasing files - he knew exactly what had been going on, and calculated that if the names of the players were in the open, and his name was not amongst them, then he would be "whiter than white", giving him tremendous moral, political and quite possibly financial leverage.

 

If it turns out he is not in the clear, then the very obvious "volte face"!

Why does anyone expect consistency, instead of chaos, from Trump. He's been doing this sort of thing since his first term. Here's just a few.

 

1) Campaigned promising to cancel DACA first day in office. Then actually announced he wanted to expand it on his first day.

2) Spent 8 years of Obama's presidency demanding Obama end QE and tighten deficit spending. His first term expanded QE, devalued the dollar, and ran up huge deficits.

3) Claimed he would tariff China. Made a deal for soybeans.

4) Build the wall. Well, you know about that one.

5) Project Warp Speed. Never mentions that today.

 

Second term.

1) Mass deportations. Now wants amnesty for farm and hotel workers.

2) No new wars. I actually supported his bombing Iran but a lot of his base felt betrayed.

3) Against H1Bs. Then for H1Bs.

4) Loves DOGE and Elon. Now, not so much. "Would have done it differently."

5) Tariffs on. Tariffs off. Tariffs on. Tariffs off.

Face it, we are both advancing opinions. Neither of us can prove anything, because the Trump Administrations refusal to release the evidence which may refute or confirm my opinions. 

 

Save the "pearl clutching", I am not accusing anyone on this forum of paedophilia (that may be grounds for a ban), I am suggesting that there is considerable circumstantial evidence that Trump may be one; the files may go a long way to disproving that, or they may provide yet more evidence. He won't release them.

 

It is an opinion, a suspicion, based as I said on circumstantial evidence. If you think that such opinions should not be voiced then perhaps you should make a start by not voicing suspicions about Israeli and Mossad involvement, based on nothing more concrete than Epstein having a "Jewish surname"?
