Bought another Omron BP machine from Lazada. Is it real?

I take a sheet listing my BP and pulse for the last week, morning and evening, to the hospital with me. IIRC my record is 195/100.

It's the only way I can stop them from rushing me off to the ED.

Same here!  I also had to fight with my GP about that!  Brought my own Omron device and showed him.  Hemshutmupmand stopped nagging me! 😂

Check the exact wording. Maybe you bought a "Moron" blood pressure monitor rather than an "Omron"? Ha.

if it's not Lazmall...probably not.   I bought something similar, unmarked, no name....unbelievably cheap.....but it always says my BP is 110/70 so I happy and I'm keeping it.

It's not Omron official store, it's Health Convenience Store, whoever they are, only 11 followers, can't see how many products, so could be fake.    Having said that I bought a no name one f

I used to go to a clinic very popular with expats.  My BP measured around 155. At home my Omron showed normal.

So I took my unit to the clinic and had a nurse check the old manual way. It matched my device, not theirs. No white coat syndrome for me.

In fact, I disregard the readings at most hospital check in. If you get them to check again in a minute it will be a good bit lower but still high.

At home, take 2-3 readings at least one minute apart.

Maybe they want it show high so they can sell you more drugs! 😂😂😂

The Lazada seller is complaining that I left a bad review for their fake product and is going to report me for a malicious report. I left 3 stars for the product and said I was returning it in the comments. Hardly malicious.

Don't forget....telling the truth and showing it to be true are no defence in defamation cases....555

Usually once the refund is given the transaction is cancelled and no review

Its not defamation if its in the interests of the public good and that there is no provable intent to cause reputational damage.

Given the circumstances - a 3 star review is more than decent - selling a 'fake product' should have received a zero.

The Op can return the product for any reason he wants - and he can specify in the return that its a fake product.

He has Lazada on his side... and the Shop can report the Op to Lazada if they want - they'll ignore such a complaint...  nothing for the Op to worry about.

Just re-order a new product from the Official Store within the Lazmall....   Or better still go to a Pharmacy if he is not too far from one (which it appears he already has done).

That doesn't mean that the store is the Omron official store, just that they have taken the pictures from the official store website.

That's a very common trick nowadays, I often see pictures that scream "official store", when the store is obviously anything but.

Unfortunately, I fell for it, but no harm done I'll get a refund.
