Does anyone know how to Photoshop? I need to create a photo of me getting a shot: me and a doctor holding a syringe while he injects my arm. I'm about to finish my personal website and blog where I'll share my experience with psoriasis, and I'd like to use it as an image for the website/blog. I can pay for it if needed. Thanks everyone.

Do you already have photoshop installed on your computer?

 

I haven't done it for years, but if you can't find anyone else and you have Photoshop I can probably Zoom you through it. But will take a couple of weeks as have some other projects at the moment. 🙂

Not sure you can install it now.....you have to pay a monthly fee to link to it online.

 

They got fed up of it being  stolen

Won't the AI image engines do that for you, just supply them a photo of yourself and instructions

there are free altnernatives to photoshop.

 

pick one, then go on youtube and type "tutorial" for what you want to do and a step by step tutorial will come up.

To create a photo like that would take an expert on photoshop sometime......you need an AI package like Co-Pilot.

 

Just upload your photos, you and a doctor and tell it to create the scene.

My brain is inaccessible to ai, therefore it cannot envision its creative detail. 

Just done this now....one sentence, 30 seconds......all on Co-pilot......did ask for a sexy Thai nurse but it refused.

The other AIs do the same or similar, but Co-Pilot seems to have it nailed.

Tried it but the app.doesn't use real people photos.

Oh yes it does

There are sites that'll do a face swap for you.   As an example, starting with this base photo that someone else in this thread created using Ai....

 

 

Then swapping in this face....

 

 

Results in this....

 

 

Not the greatest face swap, but it's better than this, which was done by generative ai in Photoshop....

 

 

I mean...  come on Adobe!

I spent three years teaching myself Photoshop (slow learner), but jacked it in when the online model was brought out.

Download GIMP. It is free and it is extremely similar to Photoshop. (Don't worry about Googling for gimps, it's legit.)

I use Photoshop almost every day. However, if you want to CREATE a photo or change the face in a photo, I don't think Photoshop is the best app to use. There are plenty of AI-associated apps now that can do that.

True....I learned to use Photoshop when version 5 came out years before app's became a thing......but then stopped using it because of cost.....most of what I need is easily done on Snapseed.

I’d your still looking for help, I can certainly help you. I’m an Adobe certified graphic designer so do the photo manipulation regularly.

Strongly disagree. AI will, by its very nature, alter the faces in a picture, sometimes very slightly, sometimes completely. Photoshop, as long as you know how to use it, is the no.1 tool to use for any face swap.

You can now use AI apps to create a photo, or even a video, using your own photo as one of the characters. You could just say or instruct it to do something like, "Create a photo with a man being given a shot by a doctor. Use the photo attached as the man getting the shot." 

Yes, you could create a photo using another one, like the ones above, and superimpose your face over the man getting the shot. Then you'd have to clean up the boundaries around the face. My recommendation is to try one of these new AI apps.
