The Royal Thai Air Force launched a precision airstrike operation, targeting two key Cambodian military positions near the disputed Phu Makua and Ta Muen Thom temple regions. The move came amid escalating tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border.

According to an official update from the Thai Army’s public affairs page “Army Now”, the operation was carried out at 13:40 on 26 July, using two F-16 fighter jets and two JAS 39 Gripen aircraft. The aircraft successfully deployed air-to-surface munitions on Cambodian artillery positions believed to be preparing for assaults against Thai territory.

The first strike targeted Cambodian forces who had set up heavy weaponry, including rocket launchers and artillery, near Phu Makua, a strategic highland area that Thai troops had secured the previous day.

The second target, located near the Ta Muen Thom temple, was identified as a Cambodian artillery emplacement with personnel reportedly firing indiscriminately across the border into Thailand. The air force confirmed that both intended targets were neutralised effectively and all aircraft returned safely to base without incident.

Mate in Kantaralak, Si Saket said that since the 711 was hit (5km from his joint) in his words "it's been payback big time my windows are rattling" Reckons Kantaralak is a ghost town with lots of artillery going off. This will be over soon. Cambodia cannot match Thailand. He gives it a week and I tend to agree.

When it is over it is over, so many other people have made comments like that before on other wars, "over in a week" Trump and Putin to name two. Sadly we are dealing with fools who have only their own interests at heart and the people suffer. Yet I hope I am wrong and you are right, over in a week.

Let's hope it's sorted before that. Keep your head down and good luck.

Might well be sorted soon. Thailand is pounding the region. Troops, airpower, atrillery, drones. Cambodia can't

afford to keep going  militarily.

Along with two Saab 340 AEW&C which can track mobile ground rocket launchers, along with other threats.

It will never be "OVER SOON" the stupid human race can't help itself. Nature is not going to cull us we have to do it ourselves.

I pity what my grand kids and their decendance will have to go through.

Just seen the first 4 KIA heading for the Thai temple crematorium the family will get 6 million baht and one of them can get a job for life in the military to cushion the blow so expect parents with sharp sticks coxing the boys to the front before the money runs out 🤔

This video is based on discussions that took place on the evening of 25 July, and were hosted by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar.

There was no ceasefire agreed. I would suggest you would find better information on Thai news sites, rather than, some Turkish site, that seems to be reporting something that never happened.

Thailand has agreed to a ceasefire in principle, that was demanded by  Cambodia, according to DW, the German equivalent of the BBC, so it looks like TRT was spot on and Thailand's agreement in principle to the ceasefire did in fact happen.

Their may have agreed in principle to a ceasefire, but it did not happen, look at the news reports posted today.

I see up to date live feeds from all Thai news sites, and you are trying to tell me I am wrong from some 12 hour old foreign video report, because it fits your opinion.

Do you think the Thai news sites are just not reporting the ceasefire?

Here are the facts - there was no agreed ceasefire - hostilities not only continued but spread today - just before nightfall F16s and Gripen fighters carried renewed bombing raids.

The TRT was based on something that never happened and was totally wrong.
