I sometimes listen to songs, and it drives me mad when "fire" is pronounced "Ffiah" as in Martin O.
Since it seems it is me against the world, Armageddon can't come soon enough.

Annihilation is for the secularists amongst us.  When I say "us", I mean 'you'.

God may bring Armageddon down on to us for the mispronunciation of 'fire', and we will all be guilty for not having prevented it.  Were I a younger man, I might feel the burden of my personal guilt.

Fortunately, as God is no more than a figment of a fevered imagination, I can glibly ignored predictions of impending doom. 

 

And that goes for hell, limbo and purgatory.

Pronouncing "fire" with one sylable may not be enough when others drag us closer to the Final Battle.
