All vaginas have an odour, mostly pleasant ... but

Putting STIs aside, there are many type of vaginal infections a woman can have and treatment for each differs. Excluding STIs, the main types are fungal (candida), trichomonal and bacterial. There are some "3 in one" preparations to be had which can be useful when it is nto clear which type is present, as follows:

Gynecon

Neo-Penetran Forte

and some others. No presecription needed.

These are vaginal suppositiories, to be inserted before bed. Use up the full pack.

Please ignore the suggestion for Amoxicillin Clavulanate (clamoxil) as this is not effective treatment for vaginitis and indeed can make some types worse.

If above treatment does not work then there is nothing for it but to see a doctor. Ditto if an STI is suspected.

I think Sheryl will tell you to bring her and yourself to a Dr.

Good luck

This is a strong antibiotic and should really only be taken when a bacterial infection has been confirmed. It could be that she has a fungal issue in which case an antibiotic won't be helpful and an anti-fungal like Fluconazole might be required.

I don't think they have family doctors here   just go to any clinic     better get yourself checked too.   This really is just a matter of common sense her behaviour is worse than silly   suggest a smear test too, you know it makes sense

I should imagine there are plenty of female doctors she can go to.

She is putting herself at risk of complications, with you attempting to carry out treatment based on internet advice.

Submitting a sample to a pathology lab may be one option.

Did I see a hint WHERE you/she live?

Might help suggesting a clinic.

Z pack of four total 1000 mg.

Then, 10 days of Doxy.

Or just go get it checked out in Pattaya. It must be so common the doctor won't even bat an eyelid.

I got the jack on my first trip to Pattaya 25 years ago. I was advised to go to a Dr Olivier he used to be near Tukcom. I was back shagging after putting it in a sling for 4-5 days. I believe he still has a surgery but I'm not sure where it is. He maybe around Theprasit Road. He's no fuss and just does what he needs to do. He's also multi lingual including Thai.

Good on yer, I don't think it matters where one goes. and like you say a couple of days off and then  back in the saddle.

I got a dose in Huahin some time ago worst part was trying to be responsible and telling the culprit she should get checked out     she was furious ,  don't think she did anything about it at all  ...bitch

Just Imagine what it must have been like before penicillin

It was a death sentence. IIRC the final stage was general paralysis, as the spirochete attacked the brain.

I don't understand why people continue to risk their health by not using condoms. There are now antibiotic-resistant STD's. Mycoplasma and gonorrhea mostly.

Syphilis was awful and  I think it still can be if not treated promptly    but lets not forget   Thrush, HIV , Genital warts and Herpes   and probably whole load of things we have never heard of  none of which are desirable     Again not too shy to be ridden but too shy to buy condoms   pure stupidity

An insensitive post has been removed.

No reason to assume this is an STI. Non-STI vaginal infections are extremely common.   All women get them fom time to time  and they can indeed be very uncomfortable.

Conversely, STIs are often asymptomatic in women.

I have great reverance and respect for doctors offering suppositories as a first line approach.  I only want to say that, from my expericence with women who had a vaginal smell problems, it never worked. It lasted maybe a week at best and then the smell came back. And then there was the white suppository residue to deal with during sex (big turn off for men.). I honestly have a heart for their sadness when they couldn't get the problem solved permanently. Perhaps they didn't go back and insist on a stronger treatment.

In the case if trichomonal nfection partner (s) must also be treated or reinfection will occur. (Not applicable to candidal infection).

TC Meisin (not sure of the spelling) you will get it at any chemist and most Mom and Pop stores - it is a broad spectrum anti biotic, I think they come in a 10 pack and need to be taken over a couple of days.

The most common vaginal infection with a bad smelly discharge is bacterial vaginosis which is caused by anaerobe bacteria. Therefore the treatment should be with metronidazol 400mg whice a day for 5 days or clindamycin. Of course she need to be checked for trichomonas infection and for other STD's

In addition to medication try avoiding scented or any high chemical product to clean down there. Also avoid clothing that block airing of the area. When my wife gets it I encourage her to go Free Willy. A loose skirt with no underwear. I don’t mind helping out with applying topical creams and suppositories. 😎😎😎

Canisten do a vaginal tablet with included applicator - very effective.

Use 2 a week apart for virulent odour / discharge.

Generics are just as effective.

I've find a lot of girls in these areas suffer from it, due to diet and personal hygiene regimes.

You have 2 choices

1. go with Sheryl's suggestion

2. go to another town or city where no one knows her or would know her, and see a female doctor They are in every hocpital
