One marmite a year you must be using a tiny cheap charlie amount on the toast

My Experiance is that Big C and lotus also Tops do not stock anything worth shouting about regarding farange foods, I usually find most of what I look for in Makro or on Lazada, most is delivered in a reasonable time and in good condition.

Depends on location. Big C Extra on the Superhighway in Chiang Mai also Big C Don Chan on the Superhighway have both increased their variety of European / UK  Australian brand products and at OK prices.

Big C Don Chan is less than 3 km from my house, about once a week we do an online order for things like Meadow Lea margarine, 3 or 4 packs of the small size yohgurt tubs with strawberries etc, and small bottles similar to yakult (all to stock up for 2 smaller kids 4 years old and, 2 years old) and more items (including fruit and veg, chicken breast, ground Betagrow pork, beef packs). Delivery is within 2 or 3 hours and 40 to 60Baht (about twice a month we get a discount on delivery cost).

And I've noticed progressively there's more international items on the online shopping pages (all in English).

That sounds like my sister.   I was at her house one day.   She was fixing sandwitches and asked if I wanted one.   Yeah, peanut butter I said.  When I bit into the one she gave me, I could barely taste the peanut butter.  I opened the bread and found a smear of peanut butter on one piece of bread and could see the bread through it!   How long does your peanut butter jar last when you use this much I asked her.   About 9 months to a year she said!

Yeah well this is the Pattaya Forum so not many want to drive that far for some Hob Nobs!

The problem is that you can't get everything from one place. I have to go to about four different places to get what I want as nowhere sells it all. Yes, I go to Big C for some things, but I also have to go elsewhere to get stuff that can't be found at Big C.

Same ..   some @ Big C / Hua Hin  and then on to Villa Market

and surpringly ..   Makro/ HH  where you can get Aussie  1kg blocks of minced grass fed beef and occasionally 500gr packs of Aussie wagyu minced

A thin smear on toast is recommended. My Jar easily lasts a year. I don't have it every day.

I tried  it  1x  about 30years ago ....   ( notice.. only 1x )     I'm a quick learner ...

I've got to go and record that for posterity. It could be a mob scene akin to the 'Cabbage Patch Doll' fights of the 1980s.  Two geezers, one dented can of beans. Who will reign supreme?

If they're the genuine article. There's a batch of fake HP Sauce in Pattaya now and it's absolutely disgusting.  It comes out of the bottle like treacle and tastes weird.

The 20% VAT in the UK makes that happen.
