Trump's 2-Word Threat: National Guard Targets D.C. Homeless!

Trump is putting pressure on DC authorities to get their act together.

"Crime in Washington, D.C., is totally out of control. Local “youths” and gang members, some only 14, 15, and 16-years-old, are randomly attacking, mugging, maiming, and shooting innocent Citizens, at the same time knowing that they will be almost immediately released. They are not afraid of Law Enforcement because they know nothing ever happens to them, but it’s going to happen now! The Law in D.C. must be changed to prosecute these “minors” as adults, and lock them up for a long time, starting at age 14. The most recent victim was beaten mercilessly by local thugs. Washington, D.C., must be safe, clean, and beautiful for all Americans and, importantly, for the World to see. If D.C. doesn’t get its act together, and quickly, we will have no choice but to take Federal control of the City, and run this City how it should be run, and put criminals on notice that they’re not going to get away with it anymore. Perhaps it should have been done a long time ago, then this incredible young man, and so many others, would not have had to go through the horrors of Violent Crime. If this continues, I am going to exert my powers, and FEDERALIZE this City. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

Nothing in his Truth Social post about targetting the homeless.

"Former President Donald Trump..."  Not the first time we've seen this obvious error here on AN.

Also of interest is why there have been no articles on here about the Clintons being subpoenaed to testify to the congressional Epstein investigation. This had  biparisan support from the congressional comm🤣ittee.

Of course. The main objective of this operation is to distract attention from the Epstein files!

I think it's more about it's easy for Trump to do this in DC and send a message that reform in needed nationally when it comes crime and punishment. A push against sanctuary cities and the progressive justice system. Politics and optics. Be interesting to see what happens. Of course there are those that immidiately cry dictator but say what you like Trump is sending a message.

I suppose you think the same about the Trump-Putin meeting also. Have you given any consideration that this DC thing might have positive results and it's what many in DC want i.e. a crack down on crime and judicial consequences for actions or is your hatred for Trump so deep you want to see this fail and indeed everything Trump does fail?

One decade of abuse.

"Mayor Bowser has served her hometown in elected office since 2004 as Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (2004-2006), Member of the DC Council (2007-2015) and now Mayor since 2015. On November 8, she became only the second person elected three times as mayor of Washington, DC. She is the first African American woman to be elected to three, four-year terms as mayor of an American city".

Not just a Dem thing. You should know better.

I remember being a tourist there 30 years ago. I was there on 4th of July in fact. So it was interesting watching the parades and walking around the alphabet-lettered streets around central DC. It was a carnival like atmosphere for a few hours on a very hot, humid, hazy day. Then suddenly the parades had stopped/finished - I guess it must have been 5ish or 6ish - still light out of course - but within 30 minutes everyone was gone - it seemed like I was the only one there. Then I started to notice poor looking people shuffling around, some druggy types - but no one else. It was a bit unsettling. Headed for the undergound train and back to my hotel. And that was decades ago. So, yeah, not just a Dem thing - an AMERICAN thing. But I also remember as a kid going with my familiy to LA and SoCal for a holiday in the mid 1970s. We were walking down Wiltshire Boulevard near the former Ambassador Hotel and there was this young kid on a bicycle - maybe 11 years old - stopping at all the newspapaer boxes, casually tuning them upside down and bashing them repeatedly on the sidewalk until coins fell out. I'd never seen anything like that before - nor since.

Trump has been throwing all he can to distract attention from the Epstein files. Crime rates were already steadily declining. There was no emergency.

Could she have stolen these elections?

I think Bondi needs to look into this.

I think there has been some questions about these latest figures (24-25) being massaged. Can't remember where I saw this though.

In MAGA propaganda? As usual, when numbers don't match Trump's claims, they must be rigged! 🤣

When the President Said D.C. Was a Crime-Ridden Mess the FBI Chief Stepped Up and Told a Story That Changed Everything

https://bluekingo.com/when-the-president-said-d-c-was-a-crime-ridden-mess-the-fbi/

His answer was blunt — take away D.C.’s ability to govern itself, bring in the National Guard, and hand the reins to Attorney General Pam Bondi. And he didn’t stop there. With a pointed warning, he named other cities — Chicago, Los Angeles, New York — as possible targets if they didn’t “clean up” to his standards

"National Guard", hmmm, reeks of dictatorship...........🤥

If FBI Director Kash Patel really said what was reported here, then he's gonna be standing in the bread line very soon.

Society has failed when we allow this kind of problem to grow like it has.

That's right some sort of accommodation infrastructure is required and it will be mandatory occupancy. On other topic: DC is just the start . These sanctuary cities run by these SAPS for mayors and governors are going to see their cities federalized with National guards to take control of this liberal decay. And if they attempt sandbagging - See how that's going to work out...

Once it becomes accepted that troops can be deployed onto the streets of major cities by Presidential fiat, then another fundemental principle of America democracy is gone.

That fundamental principle of democracy (their civil rights) stops where the safety and clean environment for the public starts. That concept has been hijacked by these liberal saps run cities . And all ya alls denial in the world is irevallent. Are you seriously denying this mess in the cities even Stevie Wonder could see. So coupled with the military , including regular army tasking: Major public works projects are required

Sometimes strong arming is the cure IMG_20250813_000245.jpg.bcd89f3b1cef4fc23b34de481c3e1509.jpg

Why does the left seem to love people living on the streets?

Truth as I lived close by Agnews. The money made selling off the property was discusting.

Ronald Reagan is often blamed for emptying state hospitals and not providing sufficient care once patients were freed. As governor, he had a role.

As I understand it, it happened under Reagan, but it was a civil rights issue. The court made it almost impossible to commit people against their will, unless they had been convicted of a crime.

Do you think that if the citizens od DC were allowed to vote, that they would vote to fo nothing about the crime and the homeless?

Is it your position that the government should be able pull drug addicts off the street and commit them like we used to?

No it's more like you using the Epstein files to distract from this liberal decay in the cities. Especially with these numbers that show slight dip in crime in 30 year high. As if that's supposed to mean DC is not a crime ridden hell hole. .^^^ And all you non US citizens that can't stop butting into US affairs have worn out your welcome here. It's bad enough putting up with these US citizens saps pollution, not only here but all across the internet.

As I understood it it was a cost saving measure.ill regardless many of the homeless are mentally ill lots are druggies and some are just to broke to afford housing…..the latter group is the only group I feel can be helped.possibly the druggies can be if they can remain clean, what pray tell has trump offered as a solution?

I agree DC is now 'a crime-ridden hell hole' but only since Trump and his crew moved back in.
