The truth is clear to many and it cannot be found without a distrust of “facts” and “figures” that were fabricated to make trump look bad. He still has a long time to go in office. I dont think these media outlets in their current form can sustain themselves much longer as there wont be anyone left to fool

IIRC Trump promised to make the Epstein files public. That's something he hasn't got done, even though his own base is calling for it.

 

AFAICT alternative facts and figures are fabricated by outlets such as Breitbart and Sky.

I think there is a difference in how people see the world and communicate.

I haven't watched Fox for some time but it would be like watching a really bad movie when in the first minute you know where the plot is headed and what they are trying to achieve. Cherry picking. Drawing conclusions that aren't warranted by the information presented. Embarrassingly lacking in content. The odd story may have some merit but even then they would normally present it in ways that would hurt your brain and common sense.

Yes mainstream media has its own bias but it has fact checking and reasonable logic in the argument - you can pick the media that is best for you.

Everyone with any nous reads the news online. Anyone who pays for news is as thick as two planks.

 

Independent news sources make their money by selling advertising. Twitter was profitable, X is not. I guess that is what happens when an outlet just becomes an echo chamber.
