Prince Andrew in Hot Water: Epstein Revelations Rock Royals

The recently published book "Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York" has thrust Prince Andrew back into the media spotlight. Written by historian Andrew Lownie, the unauthorised biography reveals fresh insights into Andrew's contentious connections with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein and explores his finances and foreign dealings. Released on Thursday, the book has sparked a storm of headlines, adding to the ongoing scrutiny faced by the prince.

The explosive content of the book is based on four years of meticulous research and over 100 interviews, many of which were conducted with anonymous sources. As the book's pages grace the Daily Mail, a poll indicates that two-thirds of Britons wish to see Prince Andrew stripped of his remaining royal titles.

A YouGov survey echoes this sentiment, ranking Andrew as the least popular royal, supported by a mere 5% of those surveyed.

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace has remained tight-lipped regarding both the book and the recent polling.

Under the gaze of public disapproval, Andrew's previous attempts to rehabilitate his image have proven ineffective. He returned his military affiliations and royal patronage after failing to dismiss a lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse, which led to a sizeable out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre.

The tragic suicide of Giuffre earlier this year called further attention to the weight of the allegations surrounding Andrew.

In December 2024, a controversy involving a Chinese national, Yang Tengbo, suspected of espionage, further exacerbated Andrew's woes. A court ruling exposed their business dealings, intensifying accusations of poor judgement on Andrew’s part, reported NBC.

Despite declining public appearances, Andrew remains under intense scrutiny. The infamous 2019 "Newsnight" interview still haunts his reputation, with calls growing louder for accountability. While King Charles might hesitate to revoke Andrew's titles, experts suggest Prince William might adopt a more assertive stance when he eventually takes the throne.

The royal family faces the complex challenge of managing Prince Andrew's scandal without provoking further backlash. Balancing the family’s public image against internal dynamics may dictate future actions towards Prince Andrew, with commentators suggesting a preference for damage control over drastic measures.

He did not return them willingly, he was stripped of them by the late Queen Elizabeth II

Using all means possible in order to sell a book which contains nothing which was not already known.

One step at a time. Lets get rid of Harry.

Traitors first.

Plonkers second.

I'm really looking forward to William taking the throne and sorting all this out. No wonder Queen Elizabeth hung on to the position right up until her death.

A very smart lady who knew exactly how suitable her son was for the role.

He’s bit more than a plonker though isn’t he Jonny.

He's welcome at my house anytime. I'd need a conversation with him to form an opinion.

A very unpleasant human being, unwanted anywhere.

Just ask any senior Brit civil servant who's had to deal with him..

I doubt that the Royal Family are in the slightest bit "rocked".  The Royal Family, along with the rest of the population of The UK have long regarded him as an utter nob. With the exception of his late Mother the Queen, who understandably but unfortunately loved and looked after him as her son, they have made it very plain that he is a nob. Stripped of all titles and patronage ( apart from Prince and Duke of York, those are conferred  by accident of birth) he will live out his life as a nob, perched in his increasingly run down house in Windsor Great Park. Even the house has no significance other than as an extravagant gaff for a nob who still imagines he is someone.

He is toast, has been for several years. It's only when books like this are trotted out, which reiterate what we already know, that he even comes to public attention.

Did I mention that he is a nob?

He's a pedophile prick. Ditch him

Does consensual sex with a 17yo make him a pedophile?

Where is that written?

Or have you been with Epstein and watching Randy Andy?🤣😂🤗

No, not in the UK, in the US it is criminal. Either way he is technically an ephebophile rather than a Paedophile.

Now of course questions remain as to actually how consensual it was - I should imagine the pressure on the girl was enormous. Either way it was deeply unsavoury, absolutely not what would be expected in my ( perhaps pompous) opinion of a Royal Prince and a Royal Duke.

That said, as I may have mentioned before, he is a nob.

I think it is desperately sad, that despite making a lot of money, the poor girl ended up commuting suicide. Life ruined by a nob.

Sometimes I wonder about that too - how many other secrets did she take to the grave - The lord will have mercy on her!

Shall he come with his slut, sorry, his wife?

Not as far as I am aware.

If you have any evidence to the contrary please post it.

And I don't mean statements from proven lying ex prostitutes seeking multi million dollar handouts decades after the hooking job finished.

Am I correct in understanding your logic here: children exploited by Asian men are victims; children exploited by rich white men are prostitutes?

Virginia Giufree was of age.

She charged for her services. Many times. She was a pro. She also recruited other women for Epstein. She was a proven liar.

The Asian rape gangs targeted 12 year olds.

So no. You are not correct.

But you already knew that which makes the attempted comparison particularly disgusting.

The law and all decent minded people find your regular attempts to minimise the rape of children by rich  white men disgusting.

Don't think that Andrew can be stripped of anything unless the king agrees.

I think that everything that can be stripped from him already has been.

He is a Prince by virtue of birth, I don't think it is in the power of the King to take that away. Likewise he is Duke of York because he was the second son of the Sovereign. Since he is not allowed to perform any functions in either role, (which must really hurt someone as impressed with himself as he is), then they are empty titles. Any roles which he may have imagined would fall to him when his elder brother became king were placed firmly in the hands of Prince Edward and Sophie when the King made him Duke of Edinburgh. That must really have hurt!

Pitiful attempt to condone sex with children is acceptable.

A particularly vile strawman. Even by your gutter standards.

Which children did Andrew rape? None.

He was accused of sleeping with a willing prostitute who was over the legal of consent. He was never even convicted of that though since she took the money, which is what she wanted all along. She was later proven to be a liar and mentally unsound.

Andrew is a plonker. A horny plonker who likes sleeping with hookers. Speaking of which, maybe it's time for you to get back to soi 6.

The tub of lard is so lucky he doesn't sweat or he may well evaporate by next weekend 🤔
