That's exactly NOT the behavior we need from our leaders!

We need them to be clear-headed when negotiating 'in our best interest,' and NOT in their need for pay-back.  Revenge isn't the best political strategy. It's school-yard tactics at best.

We gave you very favorable trade terms. This is the thanks.

Will have a huge laugh when E European GDP tops yours. Given London a financial center if excluded GDP probably something like Hungary or Albania lol.

Southern beer, you’d have probably improved the taste.

Neither does the United States of America.

At least, not one that's being followed.

US has a strong constitution that most of the free world has modeled their nations documents on. UK, well, when was it? 1215?

Not being followed. No, you could not be more wrong unless you mean all that lawfare that the deep state and the courts tossed at him.

Everything Trump does perfectly legal.  It is repeatedly blocked by saboteur judges but on appeal always found to be legal.

Democracy lol. You don't even have a constitution.

Yes we do have a constitution here in the states were I was born and live (when I’m not overseas)it’s part of the oath of office that our leaders are supposed to follow…..obviously trump and company don’t recognize that.that’s another part of the reason why Vance is despised worldwide.

You really need to think a bit more about what you are writing before you push send.

Everything Trump does is challenged and blocked by swamp judges. Nearly all blocks (all) overturned on appeal.

Guy doesn't even wear a suit to meet the president of the United States. That picture not a good look for him.

Its over, but deep state can't let it go. That's the power of the war machine.

How many died since that meeting?

In addition he attacked Europe's military ignoring the fact some European nations lost men helping the US after 9/11.

Feel free to post his exact quotes that trigger people.  I might not have seen them.  Try using exact quotes that you think are triggers and attacks.

Back on topic, I have no problem with the pub refusing service to anyone, for any reason. Let them virtue signal all they want.

Yet, I wonder...

Would the media be so smug if the polarity were reversed. Say, another VP, also in a bicultural marriage, was refused service... would the reaction be as positive?

Nobody got their panties in a wad when Mao met Nixon wearing a collarless jacket, no tie.

For a guy who complains about snowflakes, you do sound rather like one yourself.

The Brits taking the lead. So, now just for every other country to do same.

The antipathy arose from Secret Service personnel demanding social media posts from area residents, and no doubt vetting wait staff with overbearing questions. It's an exhibition of the paranoia that affects Americans.

In that situation, I'd be telling them to go p!ss up a rope too.

How low has the UK stopped, these entitled little minions dictating who they will serve. Can you imagine if someone refused to serve that terrorist mandela when he was alive. More proof of the dictatorship that is the UK, once revered for their free speech and fair play, I may not agree with you but I'll defend your right to say what you believe in...Hitler would be proud that his fascism has reached the UK without a single shot being fired

Thought you started your post with "back on topic"?

Vance wasn't refused because of his marriage.

I've never seen a chip shop run by a Pakistani in the UK.

The film "East is East" revolves around the Khan family, a British-Pakistani family living in 1971 Salford. George Khan, the father, runs a fish and chip shop and is determined to raise his seven children with strict Pakistani Muslim traditions, despite their English mother and their upbringing in Britain. The chip shop and the family's home are central to the story, reflecting the clash between cultures and generations as the children increasingly identify as British and reject their father's rules.

😊😊😊😊

Let the Uk bleeding hearts pander to the Muslim's cause and hedge their bets for the future, as someday, soon, there will be no pubs in the UK (among many other of the British way of life) and only Sharia laws.

Interesting.  If true.

Also interesting is that, according to Snopes, the former VP DID in fact visit the same town and the same pub.  With no protest and, according to news reports, 20 Secret Service agents swarming around.  And they were never told to urinate vertically in the direction of a hardened cable.

So was the problem REALLY with the security requirements, or something else?

Are you that ignorant or just trolling now?

Of course security requirements were the major issue, as has been explained a few times already. Have you seen any sources that said Kamala's security detail was making the same requirements?

Certainly the refusal and protest were not only about the security requirements, but the fact that Vance is a vile and disgustable person will have contributed to it as well

LOCALS in a sleepy village were stunned when Secret Service agents swarmed a pub to whisk in Kamala Harris for billionaire heiress Eve Jobs’s £100,000 pre-wedding party.

Some 20 men in suits with earpieces manned Cotswolds boozer The Bull for five hours to ensure the former US Vice President was safe.

Just be honest. It was 100% political theatre.

Yes every vice president has a security detail.

Were they also demanding social media details from staff members and residents?

I see you continue trolling

Keep grasping Callum. One of those straws might just hold you up!

In any case, that claim was denied by the local police and by the VPs staff.  Newsweek rated the claim as "false", and they are hardly fans of the Trump administration.

Thames Valley Police said residents were not asked for their social-media details. Officers had discussions with locals about logistics ahead of the vice president's visit, and no details were shared outside the police department.

I'm not grasping at anything, like you do.

So you admit that it IS political, and the rest of your BS about security and social media is nonsense.  At least be honest enough to say so without the smokescreen.

I do concur that Kamala is in no way in Vance's league though. We can agree on that at least..
