Years ago, we used to call this site "Thai visa.com" Now it is full of politics, mostly about Trump. This site is full of trolls, not much about visas anymore. I remember Ubon Joe and all his helpful advice now. We have only trolls posting the same thing every day, and I don't want to name them. Anti-vaxers who can not prove anything, or MAGA supporters, every time I disagree with them, I am called a leftie

Certainly there is lot of USA politics. 

Think admin introduced "political soapbox" forum to provide a forum for the back and forth that politics often brings. 

 

Personally I avoid many forums. 

For a time it was the TAX debates. 

We have in recent years... Covid, Vaccine debates, USA politics, Tax (possible changes)..etc

List goes on. 

Think the "Visa, work permits.. " forum tries to keep topics on track and provide information.

One possible explanation is the foreigners see how their own home country is failing with the liberal mindset. Especially in the immigration department.

I absolutely agree Harris was a terrible candidate and it was a choice between two horrific selections. As dreadful as he is, I understand why some people selected Trump.

Just "follow" one or more of the Mods on the visa forum.

 

They will invariably reply/contribute to any relevant subject/query that comes up and you will get a notification.........no need for you to involve yourself with all the other nonsense.

There were multiple candidates who were more than qualified and could possibly have been sitting in the oval had the Dem regime allowed for a clean primary, but the powers that be wanted Harris. And now here we are. Heavy sigh . . .
