my 2 year old tablet's battery is bulging, so needs replacing...

 

I thing its 10" size ...

 

Can you guys recommend a reliable place (not Tukcom) to replace it, and a rough idea of the cost ?

i would try the small mobile shop on Khao Talo opposite Siamburys. Half the price of tukcom. you might need to buy the battery on lazada/shopee and he will fit, go see him first

funny you should mention that place ... a few years ago i bought a second hand phone from there... had an intermittent fault - ended up chucking it in the bin in the end and vowing only to by new thereafter - so i won't be rushing back to that place ...

Firstly get a genuine replacement battery off Lazada/Shopee then take both to the young guy 30ish that has a small stall on soi Buk market in the main hall about 30 metres down and facing the wall.... surrounded by nail/eyebrow stalls...it's the last alleyway that goes down to the back from Pattaya Thai.... he's been there for the past 10 years that I know of... excellent service and he won't rip you off.
