Hopefully someone will response, never been there before, and struggling to find one that understands UK Requirements.

Pretty much any 'photocopy' shop will take your Passport Photos - I've used various different ones over the years (nearest to where I'm living etc) - they all understand the Passport Photo requirements - but you can also carry the 'document' from the HMPO Website which shows the requirements.

One problem will be the background colour.  It mustn't be white.

wait what, it specifically has to be white.

•  Plain light-coloured, such as light grey or cream

•  Without texture or pattern

•  Free of shadows or objects behind you

Nope.  It must NOT be white.  Last time I renewed my passport photo was rejected because the background was white.

The same building has many service providers that can take your photo for UK passport - they know the exact requirements for vfs.

Pound to a penny they will help you and there'll be a photo shop very nearby.

My photo was rejected (in the old building).....can't remember why......but the girl held onto all the documents.....I popped downstairs, got the photos......all sorted in minutes.

Not too sure she wasn't on commission with the photo shop thinking about it.

Don't all these photoshops just use inkjet printers? I did my own at home last time it was accepted.

It’s interesting and confusing that the official guidance is slightly different for printed ( plain cream or light grey background) and digital ( plain light coloured background) IMG_4173.jpeg.4e684e595cc081de1305fa9723d10905.jpegIMG_4172.jpeg.5d75154b65eb196f92222a27627aee07.jpeg

Do you have the large text version of that?
