A British tourist, aged 65, sought some companionship in Pattaya, only to find himself brutally attacked by a gang. The incident occurred after he hired two individuals for company but was confronted by four transgender individuals demanding ฿10,000 each. When he refused, the gang allegedly attacked him with a knife, leaving him with serious head injuries.

Police in Pattaya received an alert about the assault at a condominium early on September 12, 2025. Officers and rescue staff quickly arrived on scene to find the tourist with severe head wounds. After receiving initial first aid, he was rushed to hospital. The assailants had fled before authorities arrived and remain at large.

The injured tourist explained he had requested the services of two individuals but was met by four instead. After rejecting their demands for ฿40,000, an argument ensued, leading to the brutal attack. He managed to escape and reach a security guard, who then called for help while the attackers made their getaway.

Police have launched an investigation, reviewing CCTV footage from the condominium and surrounding areas. Efforts are ongoing to track down the suspects and bring them to justice under Thai law.

Key Takeaways:

  • A 65-year-old British tourist was brutally attacked in Pattaya by a gang demanding money.
  • The victim sustained serious injuries and is recovering in hospital.
  • Police are actively searching for the four suspects responsible for the attack.

Transgenders, sent to Earth by Satan, pure evil I suspect

:neus:

in the BP, there is an article called "Safari World dangerous animal zone closed indefinitely". Classifying Pattaya as one of these type of zones might be worth considering.

Foreigners getting their heads smashed in by locals in Southeast Asia is unique to Thailand. Never happens in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore....not even in China. It's a uniquely horrific Thai phenomenon. Thailand -land of head bashings!

Yes they are mentally unstable...comes from their confused state of gender. Rent at your risk!

Hasn't the Daily Mail warned Brits enough about events in Pattaya ? And still, they keep coming .

Not the whole story, I believe.

In 20 years in Pattaya I have never been threatened with violence in the demand for money.

In the top 5 advises in Thailand, "don't wind up them ladyboys".

More mentally unstable men, parading as women, acting exactly as what they are - mentally unstable men. Until society gets a clue and people with gender dysphoria start getting counseling and treatment, this will continue forever. Why do people hate ladyboys, trans, shemales, or whatever you prefer to call them? They are sick humans in need of help. Using them for sex is equally abusive. "Affirming" them in their illness is insane and heartless. Do we assist psychos who think the Nazis are after them and spies and assassins are looking to kill them by giving them weapons to defend themselves? So, why are these people who are gender dysphoric supported into believing a false reality? It is unhealthy and unsafe for them as well as society at large.
Wake up and have some sympathy for these people and protect society!

A nightly happening to the selected few who roam beach roads etc.

What the authorities do NOT realize is, that the average internet surfer cannot distinguish between those incidents and general Thailand. The internet can also be accessed OUTside Thailand and makes Thailand look like a lawless turf of imbeciles.

The law enforcement is the problem and if you want to "upgrade" Pattaya's dodgy image, then take the whole lot of transgender and throw them into the slammer, if they misbehave. The 500 Baht tip on the way out feeds Somchai but the collateral damage is much, much bigger.

But I am sure that the smokeys down at the tourism promotion bureau can turn these daily irregularities into a tourism sensation drawing the attention of billions of tourists per month 8-)

Nasty ladyboys again maybe never go near them especially in dark places police really should patrol these areas but they usually wait for something to happen

Never see a ‘policeman’ in Pattaya, unless they are pulling over helmetless drivers on Beach Rd or sitting in Wonderful Bar on 2nd Road

You don't get beaten up in Thailand for nothing. In over 50 years experience of Thailand, and living here permanently in retirement since 1993, I have never once been threatened in spite of frequenting many dodgy nightspots over the years. This guy must have said or done something to trigger the Thais.

Many can say the same thing about their lives in every corner of the globe, but there are those who are attacked, daily, in all places because they either rubbed someone the wrong way, were around someone who is a loose cannon, someone took offense because of a language barrier, mistook another's intentions or plainly deserved it because they disrespected another.

I worked in NYC for a while, spent a lot of time there, and was in many major cities more times then I can remember and never had anyone come up to me threatening, because I respect everyone, am not prejudiced, and don't frequent places where money is exchanged for services, where people can misunderstand what is said, are being cheated out of cash, someone got hurt, or the price paid wasn't what was negotiated .  There are also people who attack others to rob or rape them. and that's just being in the wrong place, wrong time, and it also happens daily all over.

there are a lot of low-grade people in the world and lady boys here are on a level of their own

But just a reference the other side I’m postoperative transgender 14 years. I have a PhD two masters degree obviously one bachelors. I was a commercial pilot and radio operator, dive master and boat captains life.  I spent 35 years designing large scale security to protected all the water in the United States among other things.  My spouse for 10 years is transgender she was a machinist and a jet mechanic in the United States Navy and even served on the USS Lexington CV 16.  So don’t judge everyone.  There are many good people that I’ve met who are transgender professors doctors lawyers even Navy seals.

Your comment should be changed to "Dealing with prostitutes..."  Most trans people are not prostitutes or violent.

40,000 is a lot of money for a sausage party.
At that price, I'd much rather have an oyster party.

I have no empathy for this person. Who knows what he said to the prostitutes. He was playing in the gutter and  was treated accordingly.

We only have one side of the story, the "victims" side, there could be a lot more to this story than we are privy to. I would really like to know what actually happened, what did the guy really do to get a head wound with a knife and not stomach or arm lacerations. It doesn't sound right

This bad publicity is compounding the tourist decline, these boys dressing and acting like girls and beating up on dirty old faggots like this guy really is BS. The police should round them up and give them 3 months imprisonment for violence & attempting fraudulent behaviour. The boys inside would likely give them something to think about!!!

Your comments are full of bias and bull<deleted>. There are many normal, decent ladyboys in Thailand because it's socially acceptable. Many times I pay for something in a store to a nice lady, then I look a bit more carefully and she isn't exactly a lady, this is a totally Thai experience. The details, if she has a dick, what she does outside the working hours, are none of my business.

Maybe your an expert using ladyboys! But if the guy only wants two and gets bashed when four turn up, don't you think that's just plain assault and attempted robbery?

I really dislike these aggressively self entitled katoeys. One night, I was walking down Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok, practicing my street photography. I was using a very expensive camera and I’m quite skilled at the craft. I'm 70 years old and have over 50 years of martial arts training.

Suddenly, a katoey and her partner came up from behind, reached over my shoulder, and tried to grab my camera. Reflexively, I turned and landed a punch to her nose, then struck the other in the mouth. Both were stunned and ran off, bloodied and crying. I walked away quickly, knowing that any misrepresentation of the incident could lead to visa complications.

To be fair, I’ve also had many katoeys see me with my camera and pose asking for nothing in return.

My actions are not recommended. They were reflexive.

I keep wondering—why splash out on some cobbled‑together imitation, patched and polished with surgery, when the originals are already stunning? It’s like queueing up to pay full price for a fake Rolex when the genuine one is right there, working perfectly.
