The stuff on the bullet supposedly refers to some online game that is popular with groypers. Groypers are an extreme right-wing white supremacist group.  Even further right than MAGA.  There is apparently some feud going on between them and the Kirk people because they don't like that Kirk was pro-Israel.  I've never even heard of groypers until this.

Cox is a Republican, so him ramble about "leftist ideology" without explaining what the "VERY CLEAR" link is to the shooting makes his statement meaningless. Again, the fact of the matter is that they kid came from a gun-loving family (plenty of pics of the family with assault weapons).

What hasn't been explained is how exactly being gay leads to pulling a trigger. Again, what is absolutely known is he is white, male, Christian, and from a Republican household. None of these make him a murderer, BUT he is the type and age group of a lot of mass murderers.

I'd like to see an articulate and academic definition of "leftist ideology", especially as it applies to violence... preferably without banging on about Antifa.

No, all of Cox's statements were based on information by the investigators. The investigators are now pursuing the leftist  ideology angle as they have found that one particular leftist group deleted its profile right after the shooting. Tylor Robinson is suspected to have been part of this leftist group.

Starting with “it would appear” already makes everything after it speculative, so you can’t treat the rest as fact.
 

Even if it’s true that “Kirk opposed transgender ideology,” that doesn’t automatically create a motive to murder. In legal terms, just disagreeing with someone’s beliefs or political positions doesn’t show the intent or mental state needed for a crime. Lots of Republicans oppose abortion, but that doesn’t mean anyone with that opinion is capable of homicide.
 

Saying “the obvious conclusion is that Tylor Robinson was angered by Kirk’s statements” is pure guesswork. Courts would call this speculation, and it wouldn’t be admissible evidence.  It doesn’t prove motive, intent, or cause, and it certainly wouldn’t meet the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
 

This argument is weak and wouldn’t hold up in court.
