Laptop. 24/7 breathless coverage, worlds ending stuff. For years and years. All total fantasy. Yet nothing learned, they still lap up propaganda, quite incredible but there it is.

What a load of drivel. If the West had violated Russian airspace Putin would have used it for all it was worth, obviously. Propaganda wise it would have been a dream come true for him.

So, how does it feel to be one of the "useful" ones, buddy?

PS. The Laptop!!🤣

You agree, da?

That's another reason to shoot them down. A message to China.

I just believe that’s what China needs, a good reason. Look closely at China and their change of rhetorics the last year. They are getting ready to fight, and their last parade showed us they are not kidding around anymore.

Im usually quite positive, but we are heading for a another world war and new order. I feel we already lost, and can only bend over to minimize the damages, or fight a devastating war with great losses and possibly a few nuclear war heads flying in every direction needed to make devasting results and great impact on the humanity and humans who still will be around.

I hope not.

Is it worth it to make a message? Shoot first again?

I hear you but I think the opposite is true. Russia and China are emboldened by western weakness.

Russia will only learn when nations take a very strong position, and show them that they are not the Demigod nation that they think they are. It's not good to act out of fear, but better to act out of strength and show the idiots that there are consequences for their actions.

Those Russian acts are just what thay are: Provocations. It would suffice if NATO answers with aereal counter provocations.

Everybody relax: As long the Russians are busy in the Ukraine, they don't have the spare military capacity to attack any other country.

Should the Russians win the Ukrainian war, this would be the time to truly start worrying, not before.

Besides: Future Russian agression will look like this: As we speak, Russia employs a zillion of IT guys, figuering out how to cyber- attack the European Power Grid. Without electric power, every European Army will be unable "to move" anywhere. It would make for a short 3rd world war.

It's daft because NATO has no interest in doing that.

Russia is the aggressor.

It would feed into Russian propaganda that the west is the aggressor.

The problem is: Without active support of the US, the remaining NATO HAS NO MILITARY STRENGHT.

I beg to differ but what does worry me deeply is nato is dependent upon US made weapons systems and with trump in the White House in my view it’s questionable if he would allow our defense contractors to keep nato supplied.hes shown time and again support for the enemy rember its deeds not words with him.

He is not that far off.   Putin wants NATO to shoot down a Russian plane since he framed the war in Ukraine as a war against NATO aggression, which has not worked all that well.   A shootdown may help Putin gain public backing.

Agree with you. But the fundamental problem is and remains: NATO without the pertnership of the US has no military capabilities to  militarily punish/sanction/contain Russian expansionism in the long run, as we don't have the military possibilities do do so.

Look at what I said before here:

He was VERY far off.

The idea of responding to incursions with incursions remains DAFT.

That video did nothing of the kind to suggest that as a good response.

I agree there are other possible responses other than shooting them down.

I also agree shooting them down will not start WW3. In my view doing nothing is more likely accelerate that.

Some other interesting alternatives responses that I've heard include --

threatening to close the Belarus - Poland border (kills Chinese trade to Europe) and actually doing that if Russia continues

OR

Releases a billion dollars of Russian frozen assets every day unless they stop.

The best Russian IT people have fled the country.

Russia is already involved in different kinds of warfare and has been for decades including trying to influence elections.
That's like a different topic.

Russia is now sending armed planes into NATO airspace with basically no NATO response showing NATO is a paper tiger.

So -- should NATO nations thus invaded warn and then shoot down such war planes?

Some say that would serve to hasten WW3.

Others say NOT responding with teeth actually serves to show Russia can get away with anything, in effect, hastening WW3 even more so.

Is this true?

There are claims printed in the tabloids repeated in the innertubes, but.....that's it.  Claims without evidence.

Russia flies regularly through international airspace between Russia and Kaliningrad........airspace that is also unilaterally claimed by NATO or member countries as their ADIZ, not recognized under any international laws or treaties.

Until we get gps/radar tracks showing Russian planes encroached on Estonian airspace, this is just tabloid propaganda.

Russia's Defense Ministry claimed its aircraft never entered Estonian airspace.

"On September 19, three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets completed a scheduled flight from Karelia to an airfield in the Kaliningrad Region," the ministry said.

"The flight was conducted in strict compliance with international airspace regulations and did not violate the borders of other states, as confirmed by objective monitoring. During the flight, the Russian aircraft did not deviate from the agreed-upon route and did not violate Estonian airspace. The aircraft's flight route took them over neutral waters of the Baltic Sea, more than three kilometers from the island of Vaindlo."

I'm waiting for the GPS/radar evidence proving "unprovoked Russian aggression."  Until then, it's baseless allegations.

Bizarre comment.

Trump is Putin's poodle.

Let me ask you an acid test question?

Do you believe that Russia systemically and regularly intentionally attacks Ukrainian CIVILIAN targets or not?

Because I can assure you the Russian defense minister will say NOT.

Dumbest thing ever placed on this forum, how many covid shots did you get?

If the evil Putin is sending weekly 800-drone raids, why are there only reports of 2-3 casualties?

If he wants to target civilians, Kiev would look like Gaza.

There you go again. Spreading Kremlin propaganda.

I see you didn't answer my direct ACID TEST question.

Of course you have no obligation to do so, but that tells any reasonable person that you do NOT believe Russia targets civilians.

Which means you have ZERO credibility on any serious discussion about this war.
