The simple answer, is as always, the will to erase a problem is there with support. How long was the Tamil conflict going on, and how did it end? 

 

I grew up with news about that conflict and suddenly it went quiet.

That's the thing master; you mentioned the Al-Qassam Brigades with it's all it's leadership now dearly departed courtesy of the IDF' and I thought you referred to a paid missionary soldier brought from aboard. but no, Al-Qassam Brigades people were and still are living in Gaza and as such they're Palestinians, unless that is the UK has given them UK passports already.

Gazans need to move before any long-standing peace will happen. Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria are also "Palestine".  They can move to these states  ... except that they burned these bridges due to previous poor behaviors. Maybe the UK, France, and Canada will play bigshots and accept huge numbers of Gazans.

There is a dilemma:

We had peaceful Palestinians. And we had militant Al Quassam. And we had Hamas friendly Palestinians.
