Chonburi Provincial Immigration Police have distributed bulletproof vests to officers in the investigative and suppression units to enhance safety during high-risk operations. The handover was conducted by Pol Col Napatsaphong Khositsuriyamanee, Chief of Chonburi Immigration, alongside Pol Lt Col Kawinwat Arayasurivong and Pol Lt Col Thong Kotonan on 19 September 2025. The initiative aims to protect officers involved in pursuits, arrests of transnational criminal networks and crackdowns on illegal foreign workers.

 

Officers frequently face dangerous situations, including potential resistance or use of weapons by suspects. The vests are intended to reduce the risk of injury and provide greater confidence for personnel operating in the field. The equipment also serves to boost morale, recognising the dedication required to maintain public safety and security throughout Chonburi province.

 

During the handover, officers expressed gratitude to their superiors and reaffirmed their commitment to carrying out duties diligently. Pol Col Napatsaphong emphasised that the safety measures demonstrate both concern for staff welfare and acknowledgement of their role in ensuring law and order.
