Politics aside I have heard from many in hospitality that Israelis can be the worst, always demanding everything for free. The restaurant has the right to ask people to leave for anti social antics.

  • According to management, the altercation was between a guest “who, based on the video evidence, spoke in Moroccan Arabic and Dutch” and a group of Israeli diners.   Looks like another repres

  • F.ck of Propaganda war, there are 10thousands of killed Palestinansians in Gaza, this dont count for you!? What a shame!

It's really strange, everyone I ever talk to only has negative experiences with jews, but I personally only had positive ones.

Very odd.

It goes back decades.  I first heard this in the 1980s: when trekking in Nepal people stop at tea shops, which serve food and may offer other things, like a cot to sleep on.  So in such signs written in English appeared "Israelis must pay when ordering."   And this is literally in the back of beyond.  It had nothing to do with politics, the people up there wouldn't know Israel from Idaho.

So if they didn't know Israel from Idaho, why the signs?

Just sounds like BS.

I saw some body cam footage of a 6 year old Israel girl protecting her baby sister after both her parents were shot dead, hiding in a car, before Israeli police came to rescue them.

What a horrific attack it was on October 7th.

What has choosing to do humanitarian work in a war zone got to do with the Israelis deliberately targeting aid convoys and committing murder. Strange how Israel's war crimes are ignored.

Israel admitted its mistake and punished the soldiers involved .

What more can you ask for ?

So Israel's murders were a mistake and you can simply sweep them under the carpet. It seems that Israel continues to make these "mistakes". I think we are all intelligent enough to know what is really going on here.

My son went to the Glastonbury music festival which he enjoyed, asked folk waving 'Palestinian' flags' why they were doing so!!

Their reply it were solidarity with the Palestinians who were suffering from Israeli attacks on them, my son mentioned the October 7th attack on a music festival just like this one (Glastonbury) were 1,200 were murdered and raped with 250+ kidnapped as hostages.  Their reply were "Fake news, it never happened"

Israel sure has lost the information and propaganda war?

Probably these are the grandchildren of the British soldiers who terrorised northern Ireland during the 80's & 90's , hypocrisy

Also off topic. What's the food like.

Getting back to the original topic, a bunch of Israelis had an argument with another customer. For some reason the Israelis chose to slander, or is it libel, the restaurant. I hope the restaurant presses charges.

You were there Geoff?

The original post stated

"In response, the Wishing Tree Koh Samui, a Turkish restaurant, issued a statement on 1 October 2025 rejecting the allegations. It clarified that the events in question took place on 26 September 2025 at about 17.30, during the absence of the owner. According to management, the altercation was between a guest “who, based on the video evidence, spoke in Moroccan Arabic and Dutch” and a group of Israeli diners.

The restaurant stressed that its staff were not involved in the dispute and did not ask anyone to leave. “False claims have been circulated suggesting that our restaurant refused service to Israeli guests. These claims are entirely baseless and do not reflect the values, policies or practices of our establishment,” the statement said. Management added that video evidence confirmed the restaurant had not recorded or shared the footage in question." That is the basis for what I wrote. I haven't seen anything to the contrary.

You know, it's war when adults who are soldiers fight each other. It's not war when parents are killed and children are kidnapped. I know this happens in war, but these are war crimes.

The easy way out would be to say that these semitic peoples are uniquely evil. Yet when we look at our own history, the Civil war, WWII, we, the West, were even worse. The Thirty Years War?

We can relativise it all we want, but we know it's wrong. Both sides are evil in this fight. Yes, the Palestinians suffered the same, and worse, but Hamas are not noble freedom fighters. When you see that 5 year old girl whose parents were just killed, protecting her baby sister, in terror, you know you can't just say "oh well, that's war". Same when palestinian children are killed.

That story of the Israeli man who grabbed his two sons, 8 and 10, only to have a grenade thrown in his house, perish, and the younger son say "i can't see" because he has grenade splinters in his eyes. Both boys just saw their father die. These things, they are not war. They are evil. So is the IDF obviously when they kill civilians and children, but still, it's both sides. It's not just the Israelis.

Well the same with the IRA and British soldiers during the 1970's 80's
