An Indian tourist was assaulted and robbed by a woman and two ladyboys inside a central Pattaya hotel late on October 15, 2025. The attack left the victim and a hotel employee injured and police have launched an hunt to track down the suspects. The incident, which was caught on CCTV, has raised fresh concerns about tourist safety in the city.

According to police at Pattaya City Police Station, the Indian tourist, accompanied by a compatriot and a hotel employee, filed a report around 23:00 on October 15. They provided CCTV footage showing the group attack inside the hotel located in the Central Pattaya area.

Through a translator, the victim explained that earlier in the evening he had met a Thai woman aged about 25 to 30 while walking along the beach. After agreeing to meet her at his hotel room for 500 baht, she later demanded more money upon arrival. When he refused, the woman allegedly called two ladyboy accomplices, who arrived and together physically assaulted the tourist.

The suspects reportedly damaged property in the room before stealing 15,000 baht in cash and 25,000 Indian rupees. During the commotion, a hotel employee who heard the disturbance went to investigate but was met with verbal abuse and threats. The group shouted, “You’re not the owner of the hotel, stay out of it!” before chasing the staff member to the lobby.

The attackers then moved downstairs, where they continued their assault, tearing off a one-baht gold necklace, from the employee and striking the tourist with a metal object. The hotel worker managed to escape and alert colleagues as the group fled the scene. Once the situation calmed, the victims collected the CCTV evidence and immediately reported the crime to police.

Investigators from Pattaya Police Station have since reviewed footage from the hotel and surrounding area to identify the suspects. Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and that efforts are underway to locate the three individuals responsible. Authorities are expected to make arrests soon as they gather additional witness statements and digital evidence.

One possibility.   Or the other is the Indian is lying about what the freelancer originally asked and tried to haggle it down when she arrived. No way to prove what was agreed upon.

  • I bet they said 1000, and he later cheap charlied to 500.  If true, serves him right tough luck man India.

Wild West.

The Polish man from Phuket (who allegedly assaulted a ladyboy) would have a field day in Pattaya 😄

Two men and a woman on to one, how effective do you expect him to be?   How much better would you do in that situation?

Important Points:

Beach Road, the Coconut Bar. 500baht. Ladyboys.

All you need to know. Again, Pattaya shows itself to be consistent: If you are paying 500 baht on Beach Road (the Coconut Bar), shes bottom of the barrel if not a ugly/drug addicted/ladyboy. If there is an argument over $10 between a hooker and a customer, chances are an Indian is involved. Ladyboys run in packs.

Any of the rest of us can wallow there without fear.

ProTip: if you reaaaaaly want a Ladyboy in Thailand for your persoanl bucket list, make sure the Hotel keeps his ID

A fart in a force 10 would move faster than those referred to.

They are running a business and trying to survive. They don't want to get into fights and attract police attention.

Fighting is a last resort to avoid getting ripped off.

welcome to the jungle

Exactly dude, you want to get freaky, pay the cost. You know damn well that the "victim" cut a deal for 1000B and then tried to nickel and dime.

No aspertion to normal Indain-Americans, but Indians in the adult areas have a terrible reputation with the denizens, to the extent that Indians have to have their own clubs and are barred from many others.

Never been to an Indian club on Walking Street, but someone said the beers are over 400 Baht.

One reason might be because the club owners know the Indian customers will nurse one drink all night.

You just need the correct sound track for this clip.

It does not have to be a setup. She just wanted more money. It can happen at any time, even if something is agreed upon beforehand.

Unlike the great reputation of those men who identify as women and engage in survival sex work using anal intercourse.

Yes, survive using one's a-hole. What a noble occupation for a grown up man. They also like to steal from tourists. But that’s just business as well, without any intention of attracting the attention of the police.

I am really sick of the perverts' apologists on this forum.

Agree it does not have to be, but in this case, if taking it at face value, which we have to really, it seems like a setup. if there was a disagreement about money she could have just left, but.......

what's the difference between a female sex worker and a ladyboy sex worker?

unless you're opposed to all sex work?

Freaks got to serve the needs of freaks. So what. When in Rome.

Fresher than the concerns raised a few hours earlier.

These so-called "security guards" are as useful as to have a statue in the entrance. I recall this swanky pool-villa developpment in Hua Hin. Each time any car would arrive at the barrier, the guard, when they were there, would immediately open the barrier and rarely check if not never check who was in the car and why they were entering. Just a show case...
