According to new revelations in Nobody’s Girl—the post-humous memoir of Virginia Giuffre—Prince Andrew’s team allegedly attempted to engage internet trolls to harass Giuffre and avoid legal service, while the former royal reportedly hid behind the “well-guarded gates” of Balmoral Castle in Scotland to delay being served court papers.

The book describes how Giuffre’s 2022 settlement with Andrew, widely believed to be around £9 m, included a year-long gag clause to avoid disrupting the late Queen’s platinum jubilee. She writes that Andrew’s team “had even gone so far as to try to hire internet trolls to hassle me” to undermine her credibility.

Giuffre alleges that the settlement recognised her suffering “as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.”

Meanwhile, pressure on the royal household is growing for Andrew to be formally stripped of his dukedom and other titles. A spokesman for Metropolitan Police said they reviewed claims that Andrew passed Giuffre’s personal data to a protection officer to dig for dirt, but concluded the UK was not the appropriate jurisdiction.

Giuffre died by suicide in April, aged 41. In her memoir she urges the world to confront systemic failures that allow trafficking of vulnerable individuals, and that her story is out now for anyone who “wants to know about what happened”.

Key Takeaways:

Andrew’s legal team allegedly tried to deploy online harassment (internet trolls) against Giuffre to challenge her credibility and avoid accountability.

The settlement in 2022 included language acknowledging Giuffre’s victimhood, plus a year-long nondisclosure agreement tied to the Queen’s jubilee.

Growing calls for the monarchy and UK government to act: scrutiny over Andrew retaining titles, and questions over whether the Met actions were sufficient.

Prince, it's too bad you're not Murikkkan. You'd fit right in.

I question whether it was just her encounters with Epstein & Andrew which made her do this 20 years later.

Her father had said that she had a troubled childhood.

She also had a bad marriage to Robert Giuffre, from 2002 to 2004, in which time they had 3 children.

I recall she was suffering an incurable illness. If you really want to know, should be easy to find online. Or are you looking to move blame from Andrew?

There is a country that I will not name where the male royals act like royals and have loads of women.

He must be laughing at this wimp.

Thanks, I have now read that. Poor girl.

How many of you did not bonk a 16, or 17, year old.

So he's being hounded and convicted on pure hearsay ?

I'm no lover of Andrew, but where's the evidence, this public jury and execution because of a "Claim" and nothing more is all wrong, have a proper enquiry, supply the evidence and then if appropriate he can be shamed /stripped of titles etc.

No criminal charges have ever been brought against Prince Andrew. The allegations from Virginia Giuffre were part of a civil case, which was settled out of court in 2022. The settlement included no admission of guilt.

Media treatment has been intense and often speculative. Much of what’s shaped public opinion are associations — mainly his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein — not proven acts.

The royal family’s response (removing titles and patronages) was a reputational move, not a legal one. It was done to protect the monarchy’s image during a PR crisis, regardless of proof.

Giuffre’s own credibility has been questioned at times, and there are gaps and contradictions in her accounts.

Epstein’s death cut off key paths to evidence or cross-examination, leaving Andrew unable to clear his name through court proceedings if he wanted a full trial.

The punishment he’s faced has been almost entirely social and reputational, without formal findings of guilt. It highlights how media pressure and public perception can function as a kind of extra-judicial process and it'swrong in my view.

As a former whore and extortionist, who lied under oath, it beggars belief anyone would believe a word she wrote.

And her credibility has been rightfully questioned. But he seems to be doing all possible to avoid an enquiry. The royal family 's response has been shown to be the wrong decision.

Agreed, these kinds of extra judicial processes are wrong. But the mighty seem to be untouchable without these pressures.

That's putting it mildly! She started an ENTIRE legal action against Alan Dershowitz, claiming he'd raped her, only to then retract when confronted by irrefutable evidence it was impossible with "Oh I think I misremembered".

She lied under oath, with the purpose of extorting money from Dershowitz. There is absolutely ZERO doubt she did the same to Andrew, and of course succeeded, as Andrew paid her 16 million dollars as settlement or something ridiculous.

This woman was the most shameless extortonist and liar the world has ever seen. There's never been anything like it. And her family are still enjoying the fruits of her fraud.

Seems her family are as unscrupulous, greedy and dishonest as she was.

Awful woman. A right munter as well, same as Fergie was. Andrew has truly awful taste in women. So does Harry for that matter.

Giuffre is what one would term a habitual liar. She even accused her own father of sexually assaulting her, a claim her father has strenously denied and was never prosecuted for.

Her whole life story is one big tissue of lies and her current family will live in infamy for seeking to continue to profit from the tissue of lies Giuffre is peddling, even beyond the grave.

An absolutely evil and despicable woman.

Andrew is said to be a boy of a thicko.

Paying for trolls to attack Giuffre when the service is obvious freely available suggests his intellectual failings might have been underestimated.

Andrew may have been a scumbag but I bet he didn't use one.

Andrew has a long way to go to reach the scumbag levels Virginia Giuffre achieved in her lifetime. Her journey from whore to extortionist, lying under oath, persecuting completely innocent people with lies and when shown up in court claiming she just "misremembered", making sure she gets 16 Milion USD in extortion money out of persecuting celebrities.

Giuffre was truly a bottomfeeder who took extortion to new levels. A totally vile woman. And her family is a disgrace for perpetuating her lies.

Which of his parents do you consider to be "a thicko"?

And what does Andrew's parent's intellectual abilities have to do with the unscrupulous, greedy, dishonest prostitute Guiffre (or her grifting family)?

Giuffre was a lying extortioner and a whore, and her family has made millions with her lies.

Facts are facts.

Yes Giuffre might have been a ruthless exploiter of her experiences. However there were many others drawn into the Epstein circle, who have kept quiet with their regrets. It was a seedy scene and Andrew is a sleazebag by all accounts. But time to hold some others to account.

Why the suppression of the Epstein files? Does someone have something to hide?

Ruthless, systematic and shameless extortion enabled Giuffre to amass a literal fortune, she pocketed 16 million USD from Prince Andrew, half a million from the Epstein estate, not to mention the money Epstein paid her when she was his whore, and she bought a mansion in Australia with her ill-gotten gains.

What a wonderful justice that she did not get to enjoy the fruits of her blackmail.
