I agree... I do understand their could be an emergency circumstance where you lost all your money and need quick help. But Jeez.. So many low-life scum has come to Thailand poor. Or just brazen and criminal. 

Just last night I watched an Indian on Sukhumvit beg for money from a foreigner using his 10 or 11 year old son. 

The man did not ask a single Indian for help. He only targeted other foreigners. Neither looked hungry or lacking in money.
