Yep, usually you can work out who does the emoji by who make a post about the same time, it's the usual losers with the thumbs down emoji's

Well thanks for "agreeing" with me then 😉😊😁👍

  • I put a bit of cling film/shrink wrap  over the can top and keep it in the fridge for quite a while..eventually the mould grows at which point I throw the lot out freezing sounds like a good

  • Sadly there are some on here I'm convinced get their jollies by reacting with the thumbs down. Simple trolls with simple minds.

  • How do you make 1 kg of beans out of 700 gram of ingredients?   Anyway , 2 cans of Ayam beans is 118 baht, 850gram net, of which 480 gram is beans, and no hassle.

All you need is a spoon. Open can. Eat beans. No heating, no storage and no dishes to wash except the spoon. Easy. Can stir in a bit of cracked pepper is so desired.

that's hardcore man. eating straight out of the can.

Delicious. Baked beans straight from the can are great. One of the easiest ways to fill your stomach. Open can. Eat beans. Toss can. Wash spoon. Done.

Problem with opening a large can of beans is you are under pressure to finish in a few days, that alone puts me off, so now i open, use a portion then put the remainder in 2 to 3 Tupperware containers and freeze, which can be defrosted at my leisure no pressure.

Any other great ideas?

I suggest small Zip Lok bags instead of Tupperware

Not as good as when I had them back home. The best canned I've had are Bush's many varieties. Heinz are okay,

Everything is better "back home"         :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

....and a lot tastier.

For anyone in Chiang Mai, Rimping Ping river branch currently has large tins of Heinz baked beans at 36 baht per tin. Had a shelf full yesterday. I personally prefer Branston brand but they were 85 baht per tin. Heinz will do at 36 baht.

FYI, I've just tried a tin of Heinz beans from China, seemed the same as ones produced in UK, mind you I've been using Branston beans for about 3 years and I think I prefer them now.

Good for you. A few people like a taste from home now and again though.

Yes, if in excess, invite over the fine ladies from your local soapy for a session of beans n' stouts.

Just lick the spoon clean and put back with the rest .

Indeed you can....and, just pushing my point, here's where identifiable emojis would help.

I "liked" your reply to my post, but for you to know it's me, I have to actually reply whereas if you could see my "like" it would save time.

Just sayin'.......  🤔

I've got a good idea, if everyone asks admin who makes the thumbs down on a post (which is allowed by the way), it will be more work than if they just changed the system back, I'll start first

Please feel free to report posts that you believe have stalking response emojis.

Moderators will review and take necessary action but we are not going to tell you who, if anyone, is doing the stalking. To do so would invite revenge attacks which one of the reasons it was decided to make emoji's anonymous in the first place.

Meanwhile, also do note that abuse of the report button is also not permitted.

Now let's get back on-topic which is baked beans.

Further comments on moderation will vanish into the ether.

It won't be plastic that kills you, will be the junk food and alcohol

You must not eat much.

It's an old tradition you see in many western movies. Heat the can, nothing to clean, tastes the same.
