No, as is well documented upthread I had negotiated very hard with Phuket Girl myself and refused most of her demands, as I was negotiating from a position of strength. I was seriously involved with CM girl at the time and not terrible interested in Phuket Girl. I suspect this raised her interest level and convinced her I had a lot of options, which was true of course.

I have of course offered to pay for her Uni education, as she expressed a serious wish to go back to Uni. The reason she's not at Uni is the same why she's not working at 711 or anywhere else, her high shool diploma is in a suitcase in Phuket.

 

She desperately wants me to go to Phuket with her to pick up that suitcase, but I don't fancy going to Phuket.

 

She came across as cultured and charming when my friend who owns a chain of cafes was engaging her in conversation.

There is this argument, and it has a grain of truth in it of course, that if she wants to talk to other guys, then she will do so, and you can't stop her. Whilst that is indeed the case, you can still mitigate risk situations and avoid them.

 

For instance, letting a girl go on a holiday on her own is a massively high risk proposition, having her on dating sites is likewise high risk, these things can be avoided. It's a bit like saying if you have a Lamborghini and someone is determined to steal it you can't stop them. That may be true, but you can still avoid parking your Lamborghini in Khlong Toei or other areas with high crime and put it in your garage. Sure you may trust the car's anti-theft system, but why put it in a high risk, high crime area?

 

This is what I mean by mitigating risk. Of course you can't eliminate risk completely and I'm in no way "forcing" her to stay. I'm just managing risk sensibly.

I'm already upset with BKK girl. We agreed she'd come in October, December now and she's using fees for a market as an excuse not to come until after New Year.
