After about 20 years of using contact lenses I'm finally considering getting laser eye surgery.  I'm based on Samui and they don't have any clinics for this on the island so I'll need to travel. Can anyone recommend a doctor for this or just as important any clinics I should avoid.  I'm probably looking at Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket or any other places where the travelling is not too much of an issue.

I would never do it just wear glasses. This is just one example of complications.  In the letter to the family the FDA confirmed there can be issues with this surgery.

It's not laser by the way, they replace the lens. Look on YouTube and read the comments, lots of dissatisfied people out there after the op, i'd avoid it as long as possible
