Mental Health Care in Hua Hin

Featured Replies

I am looking for a doctor who can provide psychiatric assistance in the Hua Hin area, specifically with suspected learning difficulties (ADHD, Bi-Polar, Autism etc).

I asked at Bangkok Hua Hin Hospital. They don't have appointments available for another 3 weeks, and even then they only have doctors available at night time. The patient is unable to articulate themselves clearly late in the day and would have massive anxiety if left waiting such a long time to be seen after having made the commitment to seek help.

Does anybody know of any English language speaking health clinics in Hua-Hin that provide such assistance, or will this mean travelling to Bangkok/Pattaya?

Not in Hua Hin.

The government psych hospital on the  Thonburi side of Bangkok has some doctors who can speak English though it is basically oriented towards Thais.

There are also several psychiatrists at Thonburi Hospital

If the patient is a child or adolescent, suggest DR. PANOM KETUMARN  there

Otherwise, best options are in Bangkok proper.  For detailed assessment and diagnosis I would suggest  https://www.manarom.com/index_eng.html
