What is the greatest nonliving object you own?

For me, it has to be my Apple Watch Ultra. Titanium and sapphire, strong as an ox, and weighs a ton, so I never forget it's there. Sleek, precise, tracks all my vitals, keeps me in touch with everyone, plays music, even makes payments. Makes me feel I'm cutting edge, although usually the most daring thing I do with it all day is check the time. Honestly, it’s probably the only thing I love more than my Pornhub account. I know, hard to believe, but life just wouldn’t function the same anymore without that beast on my wrist.

Well I guess even though I hate to admit it, My MOTO G7 smart phone has been very handy as I work around the country.  The maps feature with driving directions and internet access literally anywhere for routine but important things is hard to do without these days.  Arguably as useful as my laptop which comes in a close second as I need it often to process contract job paperwork.  Next thing would be my 2008 KIA Sorento.  I bought in 2017 and has not let me down yet.  Nothing but one set of tires going on 60k miles now, one battery, one alternator which I replaced myself, one front wheel bearing.  Switched to synthetic oil and engine now at 155k miles.  It is the 3.8 litre 2WD   model which I prefer over more complex front wheel or 4wd or Awd configurations.  It is just simpler

I have not bought my permanent home I plan to retire to yet, but when I do, it will be my object.

My blond Gibson double neck. Not an instrument for live performance, weighs a ton. First song I played along with when I got it was Zeppelin's "The Song Remains The Same." Nothing else like it, a magnificent instrument.

My Dad's watch. Seiko 6217-7001 from 1967. In near mint condition. Accurate to within a few seconds a day and the reason I became a collector.

What a waste. The locals could have ate him.

If you don't use your Johnson anymore and you now consider it an inanimate object.

Does that count.

Wait you said greatest....nevermind.

... except for the glass in which I had my first 'legal' alcoholic drink!
The waitress at the bar took a grease pencil (no magic markers in those days), had each of my friends sign my glass, and gave it to me. I've been using it as a pencil holder on my desk for the past 61 years.

Memories of a blessed life.

Material things, photo & figurine of my past therapist, who without, I wouldn't be the person I am today.  Gave me guidance and reassurance in all my trials & tribulations.

My car....

Most definitely, in the previous two or three lives was walking, riding the horse ten miles to town and hitching a ride on a stagecoach to the neighboring territory.

I wish that were true. Those guys had a custom axe with stereo outputs. I still get the same sound and only have to use one cable.
