Oh dear, it looks like the Nobel Prize for Physics might slip through his grasp as well!

Please don't be so hard on the grifter, after all his intentions aren't evil, he just wants to make a few additional billion dollars.

You're sane washing the unwashable.

Trump didn't say all that.

You're attributing stuff to him that he did not communicate about at all.

I tend to agree as knowledge of military level magnets would be totally beyond his level of scientific comprehension. His relatively low IQ gets in the way frequently. So does his absolute refusal to read something as simple as a briefing paper.

Anything to distract from Epstein.

Are people still talking about Epstein?

 A win-win for sure!

IF some of the republicans with half a brain manage to convince this moron out of this idea (because it will probably bankrupt the economy in short order) then the people in the states will be peed off enough to throw this joke of a guy out of power, along with his party.

IF he sends those cheques out, then we will have a financially damaged usa, which again, should result in him being impeached or otherwise "shown the door" or (God-willing) perhaps a jail cell!

Rather dramatic and harsh with the jail cell don't you think?

What degrees have you obtained in Economics that you determined that USA will be "financially damaged" with a 2000$ handout?

Has it ever occurred to you that most of that money will be pumped right back into the economy?

Actually it's a blank operation on both aspects.

As it is paid by tariffs American people paid, it won't make the US financial situation much worse than without tariffs. Of course, tariffs won't contribute to reduce the budget deficit, in this case.

For the same reason, people buy more goods to buy than without tariffs, so no more growth than without tariffs.

You come across as about as intelligent as the grifter himself. The brains of a rock.

Cut him some slack. He’s a shorty, so he’s probably been forced to sniff diesel bus fumes for fifty years. That can damage brain cells, especially in those who were given a short supply to begin with.

Besides that, imagine the pain when women he purchases for carnal favors make fun of his “size”. MAGA is all he’s got. Let him pretend he's "winning". It's kind of a public service to the forlorn.

He obviously meant "rare earth magnets" as is apparent from the context, and indeed almost nobody knows what they are.

When Trump says -- nobody knows what he actually means is that he never knew and just got some superficial info about the thing so now he's the biggest expert in the world on it.

Example -- groceries.

Another Trump classic -- Nobody knew that health care was so complex.

Reality -- EVERYBODY KNEW!

Only a total dumbo doesn't know that.

99% of people on the street wouldn't know what a rare earth magnet is, he's totally right.

He wasn't talking about "people on the street", Cam. Lame diversions, as usual, I'm afraid.

You're not getting any better at this, buddy!😄

By donating his entire salary to good causes? Tell me, did your man the breadhead Biden donate all of his salary? Oh? Another false narrative from spidermike, what a surprise

I dearly look fwd to a day when we have a genuine critique of Trump. It seems like he's pretty much the perfect citizen seeing as the irrational haters have to keep making fake narratives to batter him with.

From this out of context magnet bs story, to the knowingly false praise nazis bs story, to BBC splicing his words to totally change the meaning, it just goes on and on. One day can we PLEASE have a thread criticizing him for something he actually did/said? Or are the left conceeding he is a perfect being like the last guy that was persecuted like this, and was resurrected like DJT? Striking parallels Im sure we can all agree.

This are the actions of a REAL President, a real leader, an inspiration. Not the moronic traitor currently in the WH.

That's a major concession one has to admit, especially coming from a man who is likely the least charitable man in the history of mankind, relative to his net worth, if you're not counting Elon Musk.

Please try again, I'm certain you could do better than that.

I'm not so sure. They've been struggling awfully hard with their diversions for quite some time now, and after Terrible Tuesday it really dropped off a cliff.😆

I'm waiting for him to rap, that'll get him more Black voters than the MAGA sneakers!

Hey, you wise-guys just wait, some day you'll have to decide between sharks and magnets!

Have you noticed that he's drawing issues from his childhood?  (I'm a few years younger than him, I recall the issues)

Nuclear testing: big topic back in it's day, but WTF?  It was a ploy to cover the lackluster Xi summit.  Notice how it disappeared.

Communists: he's trying to bring back Cold War paranoia, Reds under the bed etc.

Vaccinations: take it from here, Bobby

Oops!  Gotta stop here, my washing machine just exploded again (doesn't everyone's?)

The problem is that this man is becoming increasingly more senile, and his supporters tolerate it, but it's quite alarming to rational people around the world. His facilities are declining by the day, and he's a very old version of himself.

Some recent quotes, which are great examples of his disjointed mind.

"It must be because of M.I.T., my relationship with M.I.T., very smart. I say, 'What would happen if the boat sank from its weight and you're in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery, and the battery is now underwater, and there's a shark that's approximately 10 yards over there?" Trump said. "By the way, lot of shark attacks lately. Did you notice that?"

During a meeting with the European Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, abruptly switched from discussing immigration to saying this: “The other thing I say to Europe: we’ve – we will not allow a windmill to be built in the United States. They’re killing us. They’re killing the beauty of our scenery.”

Trump proceeded to speak, non-stop and unprompted, for two minutes about windmills, claiming without evidence that they drive whales “loco” and that wind energy “kills the birds” (the proportion of birds killed by turbines is tiny compared with the number killed by domestic cats and from flying into power lines).

The abrupt changes in conversation are an example of Trump “digressing without thinking – he’ll just switch topics without self-regulation, without having a coherent narrative”, said Harry Segal, a senior lecturer in the psychology department at Cornell University and in the psychiatry department at Weill Cornell Medicine. Segal said another characteristic of Trump’s questionable mental acuity is confabulation. “It’s where he takes an idea or something that’s happened and he adds to it things that have not happened.”

A high-profile example came in mid-July, when Trump claimed his uncle, the late professor John Trump, had taught Ted Kaczynski, better known as the Unabomber, at MIT.

Trump recalled: “I said: ‘What kind of a student was he, Uncle John? Dr John Trump.’ I said: ‘What kind of a student?’ And then he said: ‘Seriously, good.’ He said: ‘He’d correct – he’d go around correcting everybody.’ But it didn’t work out too well for him.”

The problem is: that cannot possibly be true. First, Trump’s uncle died in 1985, and Kaczynski was only publicly identified as the Unabomber in 1996. Second, Kaczynski did not study at MIT.

“The story makes no sense whatsoever, but it’s told in a very warm, reflective way, as if he’s remembering it,” Segal said. “This level of thinking really has been deteriorating.”

I got rid of – just one I got rid of the other night, you buy a house, they have a faucet in the house, Joe, and the faucet the water doesn’t come out. They have a restrictor. You can’t – in areas where you have so much water they don’t know what to do with it. Uh, you have a shower head the shower doesn’t uh, the shower doesn’t, you think it’s not working. It is working. The water’s dripping out and that’s no good for me. I like this hair lace and [sic] – I like that hair nice and wet. Takes you – you have to stand in the shower for 20 minutes before you get the soap out of your hair. And I put a, a thing – and it sounds funny but it’s really not. It’s horrible. And uh, when you wash your hands, you turn on the faucet, no water comes out. You’re washing whole – water barely comes out it’s ridi – this was done by crazy people. And I wor – wrote it all off and got it approved in Congress so that they can’t just change it.”

“Any fair-minded mental-health expert would be very worried about Donald Trump’s performance,” Richard A Friedman, a professor of clinical psychiatry and the director of the psychopharmacology clinic at Weill Cornell Medical College.
