Residents in Phuket sought help from officials after a foreign couple's nightly noise disrupted the neighborhood. Complaints arose over loud moaning sounds between 10pm to 4am, prompting an official response. Yesterday, local administrative officers met with the foreign man involved, who acknowledged prior warnings and agreed to reduce the noise.

The foreign man, reportedly a football athlete, explained that his vigorous physical activity contributed to the disturbances. He promised to keep the noise under control to maintain peace in the neighborhood. This incident follows a similar case in Patong, where a foreign couple's behavior drew local complaints for loudness and public exposure.

In Bangkok's Nana area, residents reported noise issues from condominium units allegedly rented out illegally. These units, occupied by foreigners, were suspected of running a prostitution business, raising concerns over safety and prompting residents to alert authorities. Residents had not received any case updates.

Such incidents highlight ongoing challenges in managing residential noise and legal rental practices, affecting community well-being. Local authorities continue to address these issues, balancing enforcement with community tranquility, reported The Thaiger.

Key Takeaways

  • Phuket couple promised to reduce noise following resident complaints.
  • Similar noise disturbances have been reported elsewhere in Thailand.
  • Authorities are investigating illegal rentals and noise complaints.

I think it is taught in schools in Japan.

Japanese woman can get the equivelent of a City & Guilds in moaning squeeking and gurneying during sex.

Had one in my younger days who used to literally scream at the top of her lungs, and I was always afraid of being accused of rape!!!

Gees, talk about a fit football player .I  would love to have him in my team. He's hard at it every night from 10 pm to 5am.

This represents a pretty unique twist where Thais are typically the ones making a racket all night, and the surprising thing is that most Thais are usually impervious to noise, so this goes against every preconceived notion anybody ever had.

I know it seems okay, but I have a downstairs neighbor and his girl could be an award winning actress.  Almost always 2 or 3 times between 1 and 5 am.  When it is a nightly occurrence it becomes a nuisance.

They have gotten quieter after others complaints.  I'm probably like others okay once in a while between 1 and 5 but you have the whole day and until 11, 12 and can't satisfy your needs?
