fully automatic washing machine

Featured Replies

Hi All,

We have an LG semi auto (Manual) washing machine. It works well enough, but there is alot of baby sitting, wash day is just that, a day. We just want to put clothes in and forget until it's time to unload.

What I would like to know is; what is a reputable brand of regular washing machine? I am looking for something that is reasonably priced, and reliable, I know, the golden goose.

Bosch, Samsung, Meihle and other high end stuff won't be considered, they have a bad rep where I am from.

Thanks for your time.

erm... you mean a regular washing machine ??

I've never had anything thats not full cycle - turn and then and thats that - take wet clothes out at the end - they then go in the tumble dryer (two separates because we can wash a second load while the first load is drying).

Some 'washer-dryers' go all the way though to drying.

Electrolux does fine...

If living in a condo with treated water it is okay, and also another problem here at the farm I got one machine where the geckos have shorted my circuit boards and same twice with my aircondition.

To avoid geckos inside the aircon I recommend to spray either a gecko repellant (available at Homepro and many other places) or WD40 around the aircon and also a bit inside. Geckos do not like the smell and will avoid to go near. I had the same problem and to spray once a month solved that problem.

Or, get a cat.

Geckos are tasty snacks.

Since a few years we have an Electrolux front loader (assembled in Thailand).

Fill and forget. Works fine.

It's inside the bathroom.

Not much risk with geckos etc.

We have an LG top loder, for 8 yeras now, very little problems, had the fitters out twice , just phone LG up in BKK,and they send a fiter out within 2 days ,once on the same day, that is worth something.

Agree 👍

Here in Pattaya we have a local Electrolux service centre, used them over the years for washing machine and iron issues.
