Agree, the after taste is the reason I don't drink it

Sub grade old stock instant coffee, and if it was laced with sugar then it’s poison. Rarely ever go to 7’s though noticed a barista in one the other day in cm, if they’re using robusta beans then of course it will taste pretty much like urinal rank.

Probably high fructose syrup amongst other things, can have a detrimental effect on the liver

Had a couple time on long drives hoping it would keep me more alert.  For me they do the opposite and the high sugar content causes an extreme crash.  I start scanning for the next hotel within 20 minutes.  I enjoy sugar snacks but these are like drinking molasses out of a bottle.

Never drink that toxic swill.

 

Switch to hot green tea, neat, or matcha.

 

Keeps you awake, keeps your teeth and pekker strong.

I would be worried about the machines being properly sanitized to keep bacteria from growing.  Even my Thai Relatives think it is a bad idea to get those drinks.

i don't drink that stuff, but what is very agreeable is the coffeemachine w fresh coffee, when travelling i always take a hot cappu, it tasts good, especially for that low price! 😋

Love it…. Wish every 7-11 had it.

Would it not be COFFEE which is in the coffee?

 

Are you suggesting that this might, in any way, be ersatz coffee?

 

 As far as I know, you will not find acorns in coffee, these days.

Here in Thailand, acorns might be even more expensive than coffee.
