I don’t know about you.

 

However, I have noticed that everything seems to be going wrong:

 

a. We had that huge CloudFlare failure.

b. Two days ago, we had that huge world-wide Google Meet Failure.

c. Now, for some reason, the yeast in my bread, this evening, failed.

d. And, you would not believe how strange my bread looks. Or, maybe you would.

 

Am I the only one, during the past 10 days, who has noticed this strange failure of all that we thought would never fail?

 

Is it the weather that is causing these failures?

 

Or, is Elon tampering with the levers of our world in some unknown, yet interesting way, just to satisfy his own curiosity about how manipulation of the variables might affect us gerbils?

 

You know, of course, that my fellow-alum, Elon, sees the rest of us lowlifes as mostly nothing more than rodents; same as some of us saw the white rats in the cages during our studies at uni.

 

So, have you noticed any strange anomalies, of late, leading you to wonder if some AI, or “something” is manipulating the LEVERS that have, hitherto, kept our world, pretty much, …On-Track.

 

Because, I believe that we are beginning to witness a real shift from what we once thought was only a change in the virtual world, to this new dynamic which is becoming a REAL Change in our REAL world, meaning guns and butter.

 

No. I do not believe that Elon is able to control Earth’s weather….YET.

 

But, there is definitely something else going on, just beneath our powers of perception.

 

I just cannot believe how weird my loaf looks this evening.

This has never happened before.

 

Also, after adding in the recent instability of the internet, and many other minor things…

This is beginning to add up to a real seismic shift, and I do not mean something virtual or insignificant, this time.

 

Any thoughts?

 

I am becoming a bit concerned.

Note:  I have proof, too.  If you wish, I am willing to upload a clear image of my loaf, baked this evening.

 

Note2:  As to the question of when things began going wrong, one can only say that the going wrong did not begin 10-days ago....no.....  We knew, years ago.....

 

 

Note3:  My loaf has never looked like this.  It's going wrong, and why....?

 

 

I have to admit that something has felt off for awhile and it likely is NOT a good outcome. I saw the direction we were heading in as far back as 1972 and started making plans to move to Alaska which I did.

Long long story . I ended up immigrating to Thailand years ago complete fluke. 

scientists say climate change may be to blame to some degree

By the way, as you can plainly see:

 

 

a. It is not only going wrong, but it went wrong.

 

b.  If only we had been equally attentive, and vigilant enough, back in the day, as I was this evening, about my failing loaf, then we might have averted disasters such as this.

 

c.  I knew, in advance, there was something wrong with my loaf.

 

d. And what I knew was wrong....turned out to be RIGHT....!!!!!!!

 

e. It is not difficult to be right about being wrong, you see.

 

f.  The only question might be:  Why are we not more attentive to the antecedent signs that we are going wrong?

 

As to why, I think this is due to some major flaw in the human genome.

 

Otherwise, how can one explain the greatest band in the world, Cream?

It is not your sperm that have changed in thickness.

 

Yes, one's brain can become "thick", over time.

 

However, sperm never become thick, though they can become less "motile".

 

Yet, is there such a thing as "fat" sperm, versus "thin" sperm?

 

If one is obese, then, as far as I know, it is actually possible for one's obesity to adversely affect sperm quality, but not thickness.

 

Why don't you try going on a diet, and see if this might help?

 

Anyway, thank you for just one more corroborating report of what seems to be true, recently.

 

Just too many seemingly unrelated things are going wrong today.

 

It's sort of like that movie where frogs suddenly fall out of the sky, for no good reason.

Anyway, out of all the things which seem to be suddenly, and unrelatedly, going wrong, at this particular time....

 

I have, for recent months, felt this 6th-Sense Inkling that there is actually just ONE THING which is still going right.

 

I am referring to our rapid progress with AI-Research, and with AI-Data-Center building.

 

Most people here, I would imagine, might not agree with me.

However, you will see, and the proof will be in the pudding...because...

 

Before you know it, perhaps in as few a two or three short years from today.....

 

We will have made enough progress with our AI development and build-out, that....

 

We humans will, finally, after 50 million years, since the very beginning when we first discovered the technology to create negative-images, parietal art, on cave walls with only our hands...

 

Will be able to begin making sense of our world, in a far more sophisticated way.

 

We are, at this very moment, at the cusp of true greatness.

We will, with the help of our AI, become gods.

 

This is truly an amazing time to be alive.

I just hope that frogs falling from the sky, or some other untoward disaster, can be staved off long enough for us to survive, until this new dawn.

 

 

Will things, in the end, be made right, through AI?

They will be, if we have enough time.

 

This next decade is pivotal, for this very reason.

 

Let us wish ourselves good luck....

If you are correct that we are in for another round, just one more round of recent ongoing rounds, of surveillance, then it is true that a much more powerful AI will be required to process the data.

 

We already know that there is already too much surveillance data, incoming, for any computers, now known to man, to process.

 

However, you have connected the dots, admirably.

 

We will require HUGE data centers, using the latest AI tech, in order to process the incoming data being received, as we speak.

 

In addition:  Not only do we need to process the "live" incoming surveillance data being received, but we also have a ton of backlogged surveillance data which is stored and awaiting processing by a SUPER-DUPER AI. Otherwise, how could our government form a much clearer picture of what has been going on, what is going on, and maybe even what will be going on, with you, and your neighbors.

 

How much compute do you think might be required to keep tabs on 10 Billion people, at the very granular level?

 

Even if this might require 10,000 times more than we have now, still, we will have 10,000 times more compute and analysis power within the next 5 years, or sooner.

 

If you want to see a curve showing the increase in data-collection during the past two decades, then here is one suggestion.

 

 

No doubt, the curve is exponential....

 

Almost everything in our world, these days, is progressing exponentially.

 

Everything, maybe, except bust size.

 

With bust size, there is a limit.

They killed and tortured many of the yeast organisms I had saved in a brown bottle.

 

I protected them from light.

 

I never thought I should have also protected them from aliens, too.
